We do have set of personal spaces that is dynamic. We move so we change. Where-ever we go, whatever we do, there is so called personal spaces.
First is my Province. The place, the space where I grew up. The atmosphere that I feel Everytime I was there is a relief. Sounds of swaying bamboo and leaves, chirps of birds and calm air and weather. My space with family, neighborhood, and friends.
Second is on church. My church's name is Church of God in Jesus Christ, Pillar and Ground of Truth. Brothers and Sisters, that is how we call each other. Camaraderie between the brotherhoods is a joy that I always seek. Indeed, a place for peace, unity, and love. I serve not just people but most importantly is God.
Third is Bus. Yes. Because we sat beside different strangers. Also, it brings me to different places where I will move along a space for an activity of pleasure and enjoyments. I also like travelling too. Where-ever I go, I consider as an adventure, an experience, my other personal space.
Number four: the cultural center of the Philippines. It is already my practice to be there every first Saturday of February because of Palihan and Pasinaya, an open house and workshop all you can. I always go there because I feel like I'm not just a Filipino but a fan of our cultures and arts. In line with this is my fifth personal space.
The choir or chorale world. I'm currently a trainee in FEU Chorale and it is not just a place to showcase my talent I have but, it is another family for me. I also tried to conduct and teach choristers but I wondered, it is not just about teaching but more importantly is inspiring. It is a matter of sharing the spaces I had or the experiences that I had that would probably motivate them or inspire them.
Streets. The streets of Manila. The streets beneath my future Alma matter, the FEU. It is not just a way, but it is full of pleasures such as food stalls and coffee shops and milktea shops. I eat, sometimes with my friends, sometimes with my family, and sometimes by myself only. So, I could consider the place where I eat as a personal space.
After I eat a lot, there comes my favorite, peaceful and relaxing place to me.
The Comfort Room. From the word comfort, it gives me a relief. It is a bit stressing but after that, it is a "sigh". #feelingthankful. One fact about me is that, I'm not hesitating to poop in malls and in our campus. For me, there's nothing wrong with it. It is a human's nature, it is normal. And, it should be respected. No other words. It's my personal space.
Second to the last. My bedroom in my dormitory. It is where I sleep, I eat, I watched television, I drink, I vocalize sometimes, I change clothes and I finish my assignments. So, without other words, it is truly my personal spaces.
My grooming station. I spend lot of times fixing my self like, putting wax on my hair and combing it and brushing it again and again. I also give time for putting my face cream because I'm a bit conscious of my face because, we cannot deny that some people still judge a book by it's cover. Also, it is my duty as an individual, student of FEU and chorister to look presentable.
