as a woman, as a feminist, as a lgbtq+ member, as a democrat, as a fan and as a person watching the miss americana film was empowering. it made me even prouder to look up to a woman like taylor swift, to have that woman as my role model for years now. it made me wish i could just protect her for every single bad thing that has ever happened to her, it made me wish i could protect all women, all the lgbtq+ community from every bad thing that has happened to them. it made me feel like i, as a woman, can overcome every obstacle that society has put in my way over the years and it made me love and appreciate taylor even more which i didn’t think was possible

That forsaken trial

I enjoyed and cried and laughed throughout the whole doc but her sexual assault trial really got me the most. She looks like she’s about to burst into tears during her concert in front of everybody! She may stumble, but a queen always gets back up.
