The city of Kuala Lumpur has been just absolutely beautiful. The people are extremely hospitable, and the architecture is extraordinary. We were blessed with friends in town with Ken and Marinah has become a dear friend. We were allowed to route a mosque and we're even able to see a local wedding while we were there! There are many royalty here, with a king over every province. Apparently there are 9 provinces, and each king takes a turn being the main king every two years. You can see we have to fight royalty for parking spots. ;)
I'm now in Malaysia! It is a beautiful country. The wealth here in Kuala Lumpur is incredible. But just outside the city is unbelievable squalor as well.
The first picture shows our ending celebration at the church that was planted in Kasambia! We had a few leftover Bibles that we were able to give to the pastor. :) I preached out of Exodus 17 on how Joshua fought the Amalekites and Aaron had to hold up Moses' arms. We followed the sermon with communion. Best. Ever. White bread + soda. . . Haha Then went on to the equator.

Pro 2:11-12 "Discretion will guard you... To deliver you from the way of evil..." This is my verse while in Amsterdam. #JosiahsTravels

I Am Second house group! This was not in Kasambia, but a neighboring village that I walked to. 6 people gave their life to the Lord and they committed to meeting together every week for prayer and study! Really incredible.
Robert (seated next to me in the selfie) and his wife opened their home and let us stay for 2 hours. Robert shared his testimony of how God had saved him from alcoholism almost 2 years ago. This was a blessing. I was late to catch my bus back to Mubende and had to run through the hills to the next village…
Wow. I don’t know what else to say. Just wow. God has blessed me so much this week. I will post updates as I catch wifi… But the thing about third world countries is that wifi doesn’t happen too often. God has done great things this week!
Our hotel from the first night in Entebbe. We have a couple more coming in today and then will head out to Mubende! Had a great time of fellowship over breakfast with John and Ronald. Pray the rest of our team arrives safely.
I am so thankful for the body of Christ I have been able to be a part of here in Huntsville at The Rock and with my friends and family. Thank you for praying, here goes. . .
Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel. . .

Hello World-
I set this up as (hopefully) an easy way for me to update while I'm overseas.
I am SO pumped about travelling to Uganda and getting to minister (be ministered to) while I am there. Please be in prayer for our team as we prepare. Pray that God would mold our hearts and guide us by His Spirit. Pray that God would prepare the hearts of people we will come in contact with. Pray that, no matter what happens, GOD GETS GLORY! :D
Thanks, I'll update this occasionally leading up to our departure. I leave on October 1, and will be in Uganda for about 11 days. I have been praying about travelling to Uganda for over a year now, and am so excited to see what God has in store for me.
