@jealously-spiteful
Well...
That’ll leave a mark.
"King's death?" Maeve asked, approaching the man. "Yes, indeed. He will be... Missed."
"I’ll go with fish and chips, then, if you don’t mind?"
"I don't see why would I mind." Maeve chuckled. "Your dinner will be ready in about 15 minutes."
"Yeah, you too, Maeve" Hector smiled, "Uh, So what do you have to eat at this place?"
"Except the usual lasagna, there's fish and chips, spaghetti bollognese, sushi and pumpkin soup. Beef, chicken, lamb, pork chops..."
"Well it’s nice to know its family owned" He said with a nod, although technically, most of the other bars and restaurants were owned, at least in part, by someone in his family. Not something he was a fan of. "I’m Hector, by the way"
"I'm Maeve. And it's nice to meet you, Hector."
"Thanks. Do you have anything that I can take to go if I need it?"
"Coffee, only."
"Whiskey sounds killer right now, actually," He slid onto the bar stool. "did you just start working here? I’ve never seen you around.."
"I have recently returned from vacation. My granny owns the place." She smiled. "Whiskey it is then"
An extra hour of time so I can finish studying, but I guess water is fine too, thanks.
"No problem. Take your time."
Well… What would you suggest?
"I'm always up for bourbon or whiskey or scotch, but if you're planning to order a dish than red wine."
Maeve Blythe- 21st century. Future
"What can I get you?"
Alycia frowned, not expecting anyone here — lest of all, not expecting anyone to run into her. Upon the sight of the woman, she smiled back, perhaps a bit sardonically. “Yes, you should have been, but I understand being distracted by the world.”
"If by world you mean one's sisters. I apologize once again. My name is Maeve Blythe." She bowed to, clearly, noble woman.
"You are new here as well? Oh, the road exhausted me!"
"Fairly new, came with my sisters. Maeve Blythe is my name."
Maeve was walking around the wood, deep in her thoughts, when she ran into someone. "Oh, I am terribly sorry! I should start watching where I'm going." She smiled apologetically.
"Of course you can." Talia replied, turning her head towards her sister Maeve. "I assume Annette is not joining us in this wonderful night?" She added, sarcastically. "She is unbearable, Maeve. I cannot stand it anymore."
"You know very well she is not." Maeve replied, dryly. "I know. I love her, but I agree with you. She can be real nuisance at times. Apparently more to you than to me." She chuckled, remembering how easily Talia snapped at Annette.
Talia Bythe was sitting in the garden, observing at the moon shining brightly above her. Closing her eyes, she lowered down her head and listened to the sounds of the earth and the wind. Smirking, she felt and heard someone approaching. “Yes?” Talia called out, without moving a muscle or opening her eyes.
Maeve waited for the night to settle in. Annette was always the one who get to bed early, never mind she was the oldest one of three of them. She knew that with the first moonlight she'll be asleep and she took her chances, sneaking out of the house. Talia was in the garden and Maeve decided to join her. "Can't I be my favorite sister's company, Taly?"
"Oh, I feel so tired at times."
"Me too. Especially since I have arrived to the Keep."
