Woke : Dimitri worked on the time machine again to get Claire back, but not to be with him. He cared so deeply for her he just wanted her to live her own life. He may had been also pushed by pure scientific ambition, to see if the time machine would have actually worked. As much as his ambitions wenrt, his whole motivation basically revolved around Claire, but he had a deep respect for her and understood that if she would have came back it was her choice to do what she wants. He wished to do nothing more than fix an injustice he did nothing but blame himself for, although he tried to shift the guilt to Bill. He can't hide how he feels terribly guilty of not being there in time. Plus can we talk about how he technically saw Claire 's, probably severely mangled due to the accident, corpse or do we want to just ignore that-

Alright, here’s where I go on a tangent about my Desmitri thing.

So basically Des bails Dimitri out of prison, takes him home, force feeds him food because he’s concerned about the man’s wellbeing, yadda yadda.

Dimitri is all confused, then Des just is like “hey what if I told you that i was also a professor, along with being descole, and what if I said that I bailed you out of jail because I thought you were hot?”

Dimitri is all like “dude we’ve known each other for 2 days. Give me at least a week before asking to date me”

Eventually they get around to talking about trauma, they kiss, fun stuff.

Desmond has an assistant named Charity Layne, who just so happened to invite Des over for a Fully Platonic Dinner At Her House and Des is like “cool can I bring my man crush with me?” And Charity is like “aww you have a crush that’s cute and of course.”

Des is all like “Hey Dimitri wanna come with me to this Platonic Dinner at my Assistant’s House” and there’s a heartwarming moment when Dimitri says yes to the date, and I just love this so much.

Des introduces Dimitri as his boyfriend for the first time, and Charity immediately starts teasing Des about it because she has no off switch.

And that’s as far as I’ve gotten so far.

None of the PL characters have a confirmed canon sexuality. There’s nothing in the games or the canon material that states Randall is bi, that Descole is gay or that Layton is straight. Akihiro Hino hasn’t descended from on high to ban my Laywright fic.

It's not homophobic to ship Descole with a woman, unless you actively go out of your way to shit on gay ships/headcanons. It’s not ‘ignoring canon’ if you ship Descole with a man.

It isn’t biphobic to ship Randall with a woman. It isn’t biphobic to portray Randall as gay. Yes, Randall and Angela have a relationship when they’re teens. Yes, a lot of fans portray Henry, Hershel or Descole as having feelings for Randall, and Randall reciprocating those feelings. You can enjoy both.

It’s isn’t bad if you ship Layton with anyone other than Claire. I know, the FEELS of Unwound Future will forever haunt players and Layton as a character. If you don’t think he’ll ever find love again, that’s cool. If you’ve made a self-insert OC to ship him with, then that’s cool too. (I wish I was that brave.)

Fuck this shit I'm sharing my idea of the universe where they're a couple.

Ok so it all starts shortly after last spectre events. Clive works as a reporter right? And wouldn't Descole machine in Misthallery make good news? Well, imagine Clive talking with Dimitri about how complex that machine must have been and how it could help for their plan. Dimitri has no idea of what he means and is 100% tired of Clive's bs, but the young man keeps insisting that he should go and find whoever is behind that machine and either get them to work for them or steal stuff.

So I have no idea of how or why, but now there we are. Dimitri is stealing machine pieces and blueprints from Descole. The masked man catches up really fast and now he has to deal not only with his brother, there now is a Micheal Jackson wannabe stealing his shit.

Basically I have nothing else to say other than that they flirt/fight. Enemies to lovers time baby.I have a precise idea of what happens that I won't explain it here rn, but they grow close but part ways shortly after Eternal Diva events.

They meet again because Des learns what happened during lost future events and bails out Dimitri from jail (ok he literally just yoinked him)

Now they live together and bring such an awkward atmosphere whenever they go visit Layton during holidays
