These Gems are clearly one of THOSE couples.

Always giving each other crap and teasing. You know the type.

I figured their first fusion into Lemon Jade would also involve some ridiculousness along with the seriousness of what they are to each other in a society that doesn’t accept it. Their good-natured ribbing and teasing would clearly be an expression of their care, their intimacy, their comfort level with each other.

So I figured one of Lemon Jade’s first acts would be to make fun of herself. :D

Sure, Kikyo and Koga are the obvious sore spots in their relationship, but I see you those and raise you something better- Inuyasha’s real rival for Kagome’s attention is that darn ‘school’ and those ‘test’ demons, and they’re the absolute worst opponents because Kagome just won’t give them up.

This is what you get for dating people from other eras.

One of the things I like about InuYasha and hate about the fandom is how it’s completely possible to love more than one person at the same time and falling in and out of love isn’t as clear cut as some people make it seem. And the fandom pretending Inuyasha is some kind of two-timing douchebag just because he developed feelings for Kagome while still very much in mourning over what happened with Kikyo is so fucking stupid
