For this year, I gift to you probably my biggest project yet. You know em, you love em, and there's literally more than you can count.
Clone Troopers, the stalwart defenders of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, tragically turned into the faceless enforcers of the Galactic Empire. Regardless of how their legacy was perverted, their courage and heroism is never to be discounted.
"I want you troopers to remember—we're shoulder-to-shoulder on those front lines. Brothers! And sometimes we may quarrel, but no matter what, we are united. Rule one: we fight together."
*My fanon name/situation for the clone/unit in question.
Happy Plo Koon week! I offer some micros of everyone's favorite Kel-Dor and some of his closest compatriots. His master, his Padawans, the troops he commanded.
More Star Wars micros for my personal AU! Here, the Inquisitorius, dark agents of the Sith and Galactic Empire.
As I've alluded to before, I started cooking this AU up when Rebels was airing, and one of the things I've had fun doing has been to mix up ways to reconcile the differing depictions of certain aspects between the new Disney Canon and the old Legends continuity. The Inquisitorius is one such aspect, as the Legends and Canon Inquisitors are worlds apart in their appearance, role, and function. In my discussions with @rogueleader14 back on FanFiction, he brought up an idea that I loved and adapted into my AU.
TWO DIFFERENT IMPERIAL INQUISITIONS.
In my AU, the Disney canon Inquisitors are the public face of the organization, answering to Darth Vader and operating in the open as tangible enforcers of the Empire. By contrast, the Legends Inquisitors are the higher ups who instead answer directly to Palpatine, with a much broader range of roles and responsibilities. While all are Jedi hunters, the Emperor's Inquisitors are also tasked with the specific conversion of new followers to the Dark Side, conducting research into the mysteries of the Force, and even overseeing the development of special Imperial projects. Reflecting their respective masters, Vader's Inquisitors are far more dynamic in appearance, with their imposing armor and iconic ringed saberstaffs, while Palpatine's are garbed in simpler robes and are more secretive and subtle. The Emperor's Inquisitors are also far stronger, many comparable to low-level Jedi Masters and some even rivaling the old greats of the Council. Vader's are quite dangerous in their own right, but most of them cap out around the high Knight level, with their knowledge of true Sith lore being far more limited. Naturally, Palpatine hordes the strongest Force-sensitives to himself, leaving Vader to wrangle the comparative rank-and-file to limit his potential us against him. Still, their position offers them a rare opportunity for advancement, as sufficient development and service could potentially garner the Dark Lord's notice and recruitment.

As I wrapped up my rewatch of Star Wars: Rebels last week, I figured I'd offer a collection of the various micros I've made over the years (including a couple I just threw together a couple days ago) of the show's original heroes. The good, the questionable, the borderline insane, all Rebels!
For this next batch of Star Wars micros, I'm finally giving some clones! Here's a bunch of various clone commander/captains/COs of the Grand Army of the Republic!
For various reasons, I feel the need to point out the following:
1) Dooku - and, by extension, the CIS, which he led - started the Clone Wars. He was building an army and preparing for war before the Republic had made any move. For all practical intents and purposes, the fact that the Republic happened to have an army ready to go to counter Dooku's first move was a fortuitous (if sketchy) piece of luck given that the Jedi and the Senate were completely unaware of said army until mere days before the attack.
2) Dooku - and, by extension, the CIS - was never planning on peacefully withdrawing from the Republic.
3) Palpatine - and, by extension, Dooku - WANTED war. And they got it. Again, there was no chance for peaceful secession. Tawni Ames spoke the truth - though perhaps she didn't realize just HOW true it was - when she said "Peace was never an option."
4) The CIS staged hostile invasions of neutral and Republic-sided planets. They did NOT limit themselves to defending against Republic attacks. The Republic and the CIS BOTH engaged in offensive maneuvers, as well as defensive maneuvers.
It just... kinda confuses me when I see people piling on the Jedi for fighting for the Republic and talking about how the Jedi should have let the CIS just bow out of the Republic. Like - the systems who made up the CIS may have wanted to peacefully secede, but Dooku certainly didn't: heck, he murdered the person who got the furthest in persuading the CIS to push for peace. Simple secession quite literally wasn't possible with Palpatine and Dooku in charge.
Friendly reminder that if you're gonna critize the Jedi, they have to be wrong.
"They told Anakin he wasn't fit to be a Jedi" Yeah, was he? He was unhappy the whole time, broke all their rules and eventually slaughtered them.
"They massacred the Sith Order" Yeah. Those "I'm better than everyone and everything and they all should kneel to me or die" people? I see no issue here.
"They fought in the Clone Wars as peacekeepers." Yeah. What was the alternative? Standing by as the clones, civilians and the Republic itself (the best government out those in the galaxy, although admittedly that's rather a low bar) were massacred by the Separatists? Yeah no. And peacekeepers ≠ pacifists.
"They forbid marriage." They are a religious organization, monks. Fobidding its members from marrying is pretty standard in monasteries. They also aren't celibate, friendship isn't discouraged at all and it's all but stated by Obi-Wan in TCW S6 that romantic feelings are perfectly allowed. Several of the Order's members practice their home planets' culture and religion and language (Barriss has a Mirilian Idol in her room, she Luminara Quinlan etc have cultural tattoos, many characters have accents which implies Basic isn't their first language and others don't speak Basic at all, etc). They have no dress code, they are allowed to drink, smoke, etc., even become part of other religions organizations (see Plo Koon)! Marriage being forbidden is nothing, literally meaningless next to the freedom Jedi have.
If you're gonna critize the Jedi, they have to be wrong.
No, they shouldn't change their whole way of life just because you don't like it.
"I want to come with you to Alderaan. There's nothing for me here now. I want to learn the ways of the Force and become a Jedi like my father."
"None of the stories people tell about me can change who I really am."
"You've failed, Your Highness. I am a Jedi, like my father before me."
"Not the last of the old Jedi, Luke. The first of the new."
"Every generation has its challenges to face, its own battles to win. Why should yours be any different?"
"The rebellion is reborn today... The war is just beginning... and I will not be the last Jedi."
It's my birthday! As I prep for another trip around the Sun, I offer a new batch of Star Wars micros, all dedicated to the face of the GFFA.
The Farmboy, the New Hope, Red Five, Rogue Leader, the hero of the Rebel Alliance, the final student of the old Jedi Order, adn the first Grandmaster of the New Jedi Order, the one and only Luke Skywalker!
*note, these are Lukes based on my personal Star Wars AU which blends Legends, Dis-canon, and a bunch of other stuff, which is why everything's a mismash here.
Hello there! In Star Wars The Clone Wars, Commander Doom lost Jedi Master Tiplar during the Battle of Ringo Vinda, and her twin sister, Tiplee during the Clone Wars arc: Son of Dathomir. How will this clone trooper deal with Order 66? Find out, now!
Since it's Clonetober to some people over at Deviantart, I opted to present some micros of the one and only Captain Rex (a bunch of canon designs and a final outfit exclusive to my AU)

Fresh off of Sabine Week, I opted to make another micro collage for my personal Star Wars AU. This time, the Mandalores, the recognized highest leaders of the Mandalorian people throughout galactic history.
(bear in mind, this is not everyone who held the title or filled the same effective role, just the most prominent ones and those I could easily make a micro for)
