If ONE MORE incident messes with the grounds of Coldharbour I'm demanding paid vacation.
( Continuing from here )
You don't need to shoo me. Hello, Rebit.
( @benevolence-of-mara )
Force of habit.
Ribbit. ^_^
(The frog looks much too pleased with themselves. Like sitting on the Daedra is a terrible feat they accomplished.)
I'll call Julianos over.
[Stendarr shifted his appearance into a less threatening one, what looked to be a particularly tall Redguard with golden eyes.]
Very well.
(She nods then concentrates on Julianos' presence.)
Hello, Ju. Can you come over to Zenithar for a moment?
@wisdom-of-julianos
[After a few moments, Julianos appears, looking somewhat on edge. He looks first to Mara, then past her to Stendarr, Jeff, and Rebit. The confusion at seeing Jeff, in particular, is quickly overrun by relief when he finally senses Stendarr, in particular. How he seems to instantly recognize his brother is a mystery, but he immediately runs over and hugs Stendarr in an uncharacteristic show of emotion.]
Do not ever make me worry so much again.
[Stendarr tensed at first, startled, but then immediately melted into the hug.]
Julianos... I'm so sorry. Are you okay? I heard from Mara that you've visited Bal a couple times.
( @benevolence-of-mara )
(Mara lets the two of them talk, trying to coax Rebit off of Jeff's head.)
Ribbit. 🙂↔️
@wisdom-of-julianos
[Jeff is unbothered by the frog, though he does sniff at Mara curiously, pleased at how good the Aedra seem to smell. Must be quite the change from Coldharbour.]
(Mara gives up her attempts, figuring that the frog will jump off if they become too dehydrated or hungry.)
Hello.
(The hulking Daedra standing next to the carefully trimmed trees and plants looks almost comical. Like a stork standing in a salad patch.)
Will you go to JHUNAL as well? With Stendarr?
If he wishes me to go. All I know is that I am going to THENDR and staying there. I do not want to return to Coldharbour, and Stendarr is much nicer than Molag Bal. His grumpy moods result in far less beatings.
I can imagine.
Though I suspect that you are going to THENDR after Bal has been sorted out?
[Jeff nodded, then ducked when his head rustled a few leaves, crouching down to loaf like a cat instead.] Yes. Molag Bal would probably kill me if he saw me. I look like Stendarr, after all. He would know that the Aedra's influence has affected me.
Did he think this exchange of power would be without consequences for his sphere?
...Though Bal and Critical Thinking are rarely in the room together. Critical Thinking probably has a restraining order against him.
It is just me. Bal's other Daedra are still loyal to him, and they still look the same.
I'm surprised you didn't get attacked there.
I did. I am not flying for a reason. Stendarr's restoration magic weakens every day he's in Molag Bal's body, so he hasn't been able to heal my wing. It was weak after the last time Bal broke it.
(Mara takes a closer look at the wing.)
I could try healing it.
[He stretched the injured wing out a bit, grimacing. It was considerably shredded, and part of it sat at an odd angle as if broken.]
If you wouldn't mind.
(She examines the membrane and the bones. She gives a sharp tug so the bones align correctly again. Only then does she use her Healing.)
.......
(The holes in the wings close up.)
[Jeff sighs softly in relief, stretching the wing gingerly to test for pain before folding it back up against himself.] Thank you. I do suppose I owe you now.
I don't use my power to get favors.
I like repaying kindness. If you need me for anything, simply ask.

[Jeff is unbothered by the frog, though he does sniff at Mara curiously, pleased at how good the Aedra seem to smell. Must be quite the change from Coldharbour.]
(A frog hops in. They have a faintly glowing pearl attached to their back.)
(A voice fills the room.)
Mannimarco has told me that you may be of assistance in getting to Fargrave.
Mara, Goddess of Love
@benevolence-of-mara
Divayth picked the pearl off the frog then looked to the frog. "Can you take me to her so we may talk strategy?"
(Rebit makes frog noises.)
I am unsure if Aetherius is a good place to talk right now. We have been compromised, as I am sure Mannimarco has mentioned.
(Mara's voice says.)
"Then why not come to me, my tower is within a pocket realm at the moment and should be safe."
(There is a moment of static.)
I apologise for the sudden intrusion.
(Mara is now standing behind him as she dusts of her robes.)
But it appears it is now only I who is available from my family.
Divayth turned, completely unphased by an Aedric god in his presence. "I assume things have gotten worse for the Aedra since Mannimarco and Vanus spoke to me. Such things can be expected of the House of Troubles. You require a way into Fargrave. Do you need anything else or tell me things from your perspective?"
Ideally, I would also need a way out of Fargrave.
But yes. All my brothers have the self-preservation of a boulder tumbling down a hill. And so, one after the other, they got captured. The only exception would be Zenithar, but he is unavailable for now.
"A way out can be achieved. I have hidden a path through Clockwork City which I obtained and kept hidden in a non functioning form After the Nerevarine killed Almalexia. I use it to house secret paths through several daedric realms and it remains here hidden in my tower. Does this suffice?"
I believe so, yes.
Thank you, Divayth Fyr.
"Of course, Soryane is a friend of mine after all. I am more than happy to help. You let me know when you are ready."
I'm ready.
"Very well, follow me and we will go to Fargrave. Do we know who is lost there?" he turned and lead her up a spiral staircase.
I believe one of my brothers is lost there.
Divayth stopped in front of a door and waved a hand, unlocking the complex Dwemer mechanism with magic then lead her inside to a stone platform in the center of the room with what looked like a replica Dwemer city. "Just so you know, once one is rescued we must get to the other two fast before Molag Bal can readjust his tactics."
I'm aware.
I'm ready to give the order to cap THENDR's energy at a moment's notice.
"Then let's go save a god." He placed his hand on the dome over the model and shrunk down, appearing within the now quiet and despaired Clockwork City.
Nobody lives here anymore, do they?
(She looks around the desolate place.)
"No, it died when our version of Sotha Sil died. I am thinking of gifting it to another."
I see.
And from here we will reach Fargrave?
"Yes, I put the portal this way." He lead her down the path to a large building at the other end of the city and brought her to a back room down an elevator then opened a door showing a portal.
Oh, that's... out of the way.
Thank you again.
"Yes, the best place to keep it hidden. Do you wish me to come with you or wait here with your frog so I know when to re open the other side for you?"
I believe it would be good not to go in alone. Rebit can return to Zenithar.
(The frog disappears.)
"Then let's go." He stepped through the portal first and waited for Mara on the other side.
(Mara follows after him, looking around.)
Will we have to be quiet?
"Preferable. Even better if you can disguise yourself as a dremora." with a snap of his fingers he changed to look like a Dremora from Coldharbor.
I don't believe that I ever tried before.
"If you wish me to I can use a bit of illusion magic to mask you. After all, you can be quite noticeable."
Very well.
(She holds still for the spell.)
Divayth held out his hands and traced an arc of magicka in the air and cast an illusion spell on the god making her look like a female dremora. "There, hopefully it is enough to hide us at a glance but if anyone looks deeper, they are going to know who you and I are."
Then we shall better make sure that they won't look deeper.
"Then we move quickly. Do you have a way to locate your brother?"
(She raises her hand and conjures a spark.)
This will give off a pulse that resonates with the Aedric soul. It shouldn't be detectable by Daedra.
Divayth just waited patiently for her to locate who they were looking for so they can continue on.
(The spark lifts up and pulses, its color matching itself to its surroundings and slowly drifted off one direction. Mara follows.)
@lord-of-brutality
[Several minutes later, they would see a Daedric Titan crawling between the ruins of Fargrave, wings tucked tight against his body, sniffing at the ground as if searching for something. He turned and looked directly at Mara and Divayth, who currently looked like Dremora from Coldharbour. Jeff, with a doubt, but he looked different now, with his scaly skin seeming like a warm golden-brown instead of black, and he was much larger now as well.]
[It was probably pretty funny to see a fully grown winged demon puff up like a threatened kitten, but he shrieked and booked it in another direction immediately afterwards. It would be a shame to lose him, especially since he would probably warn Stendarr that Molag Bal's daedra had found them, unaware that they were friendly, which would probably make it far harder to find the Aedra.]
( @fyr-himself )
Oh dear!
We need to run after him! Who knows who he will try to warn!
(She runs after the Daedra, believing it to be an enemy.)
@fyr-himself
Divayth sighed. "I am too old to run with far too much magic at my disposal." he, with a snap of his fingers vanished then reappeared in front of Jeff. "I suggest you look at us a bit deeper."
@jeff-the-daedra
[Jeff skidded to a stop, flapping his wings to regain his balance. At first, he looked bewildered, but then he peered closer, sniffing at Divayth curiously.]
You... You are that grumpy elf-mortal with the Psijics! Yes, I know you. What are you doing here?
( @benevolence-of-mara )
(Mara nearly crashes into the Daedra as she comes to a stop.)
We are looking for Stendarr. And whoever else may have been imprisoned here.
@fyr-himself
Imprisoned? Stendarr isn't imprisoned. I don't know anyone who is, not here. This is a neutral ground.
( @fyr-himself )
"Well Molag Ball is masquerading as Stendarr. How do you explain that?"
@benevolence-of-mara
Oh, that. I can show you why that is. Come on, follow me!
[Jeff trots happily past them, wings fluttering.] Mister Stendarr's right this way.
( @benevolence-of-mara )
(Mara shrugs and follows.)
@fyr-himself
Divayth walks with Mara.
@jeff-the-daedra
[Jeff continues leading them, humming some old tavern bard song as he went. He then came to a stop, glancing around.] He was right... Stendarr! Stendarr, where are you?
(A frog hops in. They have a faintly glowing pearl attached to their back.)
(A voice fills the room.)
Mannimarco has told me that you may be of assistance in getting to Fargrave.
Mara, Goddess of Love
@benevolence-of-mara
@lord-of-brutality
@fyr-himself
Divayth sighed. "I am too old to run with far too much magic at my disposal." he, with a snap of his fingers vanished then reappeared in front of Jeff. "I suggest you look at us a bit deeper."
@jeff-the-daedra
@fyr-himself
Imprisoned? Stendarr isn't imprisoned. I don't know anyone who is, not here. This is a neutral ground.
( @fyr-himself )

[Jeff landed in the Shivering Isles, crouching again so that Sorayne could get off of his back.] I don't know where Molag Bal is at the moment, or Lord Sheogorath for that matter, but just follow me to Cas. I'd carry you the rest of the way, but I can admit that my wing still gets a little sore after a while.
@vestige-of-hammerfell
She laughs. "That's alright, walking isn't going to kill me... want me to tend to your wing? Not to fly but just so you don't have to deal with the soreness."
Perhaps later, though I appreciate the offer. I don't like leaving Cas alone for long so I'm in a bit of a rush.
[He padded along the grounds of the Isles as he spoke, sniffing at the air.]
