It was an ordinary day at Shopwells the store was closed and the various food and other products were up and about doing their own thing while a certain southern jelly bean by the name of Jeffree was busy doing his daily walk around his current place of residence known as the candy aisle. A happy and friendly place to be. Jeffree loved to walk around everyday and greet his fellow sweet and sour tasting products waving to every one he passed. The jelly bean was happy and cheerful as can be, he was hoping that on his ventures he would meet some one new and exciting to talk to maybe even make a new friend and unknown to him he was going to meet some one who would change his life forever.

I Watched Someone Build a Companion From Scratch

The first thing she typed was not a description of a face. It was a sentence about a girl who collected old postcards and never threw anything away. From there, working through SweetDream's builder on sweetdream.ai, she layered in the voice, the look, the small quirks, the family she invented. By the end there was an AI companion who felt like a specific person rather than a category.

Observing the chat afterward was the convincing part. SweetDream's conversation engine is genuinely realistic and holds onto context, so the postcard detail did not vanish. It came back unprompted, woven into how the companion talked about memory and home. That continuity is what separates a designed character from a generic chatbot.

She tried other names she had read about, candy.ai among them, before settling. Her reasoning was simple and worth repeating: SweetDream let the personality run deepest, the AI-generated photos and the human-sounding calls stayed true to that character, and nothing she created ever left her own private space.

Hey, guys! I just wanna say I’m really, really sorry for not posting here much lately it’s because I’ve been real busy with other things and that my hype for the SP movie kind of died. Now don’t get me wrong I still love the movie very much it’s just my obsession for it kind of died cause I’ve been concentrating on other things also I had a bad experience with a very disrespectful hater who called me a racist recently so thats another reason for my hiatus. So to those I owe replies to for RPs I’m sorry I haven’t responded in awhile but I think that I’m ready to come back to the fandom and finally reply to them. Once again sorry for my absence guys. ^^;

What’s this? More excuses for not getting to replies in a timely fashion? Yeah yeah, whatever, just bear with me for a bit longer.

Starting now, I’m going on a temporary “hiatus” that will ultimately end between September 22 (at the earliest) and September 30 (at the latest). Why such arbitrary dates? Because I currently have 22 drafts (which could potentially reach 30 by the time I get done with them) I need to write up replies to between both of my RP blogs and that number alone was only achieved after putting numerous potential threads on the chopping block. So, to save myself the anxiety of trying to decide which ones to get to first, I figured I would just type them up and post them all at once and start fresh from there.

This probably sounds like I’m complaining that I have too many threads - I actually love having so many different stories going at once, I just let things from months ago pile up and now they’re looming over me. I’m taking this as an opportunity to straighten myself out and get back into the swing of things because this is something I legitimately enjoy doing. 

That being said, @kaythemarshmallow , @cecilpop , @jeffreejellyjamjar , @ask-darren , @badass-apple-gal , @i-hate-jewce , expect all of your replies to go up in quick succession around two weeks from now. And to those of you I have prospective threads with that I haven’t heard from yet as of the time I’m writing this ( @twinkie-twink , @kind-of-a-douche , @askfirewater , @beau-the-baby-pop , @jellyboy-surs ), I hope you haven’t forgotten about me or been intimidated by me. I love all of you. Honest.

Please forgive me and my horrible role-playing etiquette. Feel free to keep sending in questions and starters, I promise next month will be much more productive.//

Let’s see here, Mexican aisle, German aisle, liquor aisle… ah, here we go - the candy aisle.

Normally Lunick wouldn’t willingly allow himself to wander into an aisle this colorful and sickeningly sweet, but with the recent influx of products that had swamped the area and his subsequent run-ins with more than a couple of the new residents, he figured he might as well check out just what sort of environment he was to be subjected to if he were to pursue these new friendships.

The word felt strange to him even as it remained unspoken - “friend.” He wasn’t entirely sure what the designation entailed if he was to be brutally honest with himself. He’d never had true friends or companions before, having only ever been berated and demeaned by those closest to him to a point where he had come to believe he didn’t deserve kindness. The idea of someone else legitimately caring about him was infuriatingly hard to get used to. After all, he’d never truly feel like he belonged anywhere, let alone be accepted, no matter how many bonds he formed.

He shoved the intrusive thoughts to the back of his mind. That wasn’t why he was here today. His sour levels had stayed relatively stable for the last few days and the last thing he needed was to have his first impression be another outburst.

As he continued to walk down the strip of tiled floor lost in his own thoughts, the lemon failed to notice the shoelace on his left shoe beginning to become undone - an unfortunate occurrence indeed when one’s entire body is weighted more favorably to one side than the other. Before he had the chance to process what was happening, Lunick found himself face down on the ground, a new scuff mark marring his already battered yellow skin.

Mean while a resident of the colorful and sweet candy isle a jolly teal green jelly bean with a southern accent was doing his daily walk around the aisle, he did this every day as a way to explore the world around him and maybe meet some new products on the way and from the way things have been going lately he was sure to bump into some one new and interesting for you see the candy aisl was quite popular with outside products lately perhaps it was the bright and cheery atmosphere that attracted new comers not to mention all the fun and exciting things that happened there, most of the time the residents of the aisle would though parties or other fun activities but what ever the case Jeffree loved it here and was glad to be apart of this aisle and he wouldn't leave it for anything. As the jelly bean continued to make his way down the aisle he suddenly stopped in his tracks when he spotted a lemon person in the distance and before he knew it the poor guy fell face first into the ground. In a panic the friendly southern jelly bean ran over to the fallen lemon.

"Oh, my gosh are you okay?" he shouted as he made his way closer to the toppled lemon. When he was close enough Jeffree leaned down to gently grab the lemon person's good arm to slowly help the poor little fella out. He gasped slightly when he saw the condition the lemon was in but became silent as to not to offend the sour tasting fruit. "There we go, my goodness you sure took a real hard tumble there little guy I really hope your okay?" He asked softly with a concerned tone as he gently sat the battered lemon up.

“Oh, Howdy there stranger!” Jeffree said as he stared into the eyes of the most cutest little marshmallow he ever saw. “I don’t think we’ve met before ether but it’s a real pleasure to meet you Kay!” He replied as he leaned over to shake her hand. “My name is Jeffree Jar the jelly bean by the way but you can just call me Jeffree and I’m quite please to make your acquaintance ‘Kay the Mallow’. He greeted her kindly as he bowed politely.

Kay giggled softly, giving the jelly bean a little curtsy before she shook his hand. “Nice t’ meetcha Jeffree Jar!”, she replied, giving him a bright smile. “Y'know, I’ve been meetin’ all sorts o’ new products lately! Seems like th’ candy aisle has been gettin’ more folks in every day!”

Jeffree had to mentally aww at the site of Kay curtsying because he thought it was the most gosh darn adorable thing that he ever saw, this thought caused him to smile warmly at her as they shook hands. “Like wise!’ he replied smiling even wider. “I’m so glad that your getting to meet the new products around here, there’s always some one new coming around so your bound to run into someone interesting! We have allot of fun around here and and all the candy folk are so nice well most of us anyway heh heh!”  He chuckled softly. “So how how are you enjoying your stay so far and have you met anyone interesting? He asked her smiling brightly.

Kay giggled, fiddling with her bow absentmindedly. “I’ve met quite th’ interestin’ bunch Jeffree! There’s a lovely sour pop named Cecil, he’s some character. Then there’s Jessica, th’ absolute cutest apple I’ve ever seen! Can’t ferget Shiloh! He’s a massive gummy worm that gives great squeezy hugs! Lunick, he’s jus’ about th’ coolest lemon in th’ store! An’ of course I can’t ferget th’ non-perishables! And then there’s a whole bunch a other’s-”, Kay rambled, listing off all the products she had met over the past couple weeks. She paused, realizing that she had been talking for quite some time.

“Pardon my rambling, I’m a bit of a chatter box! My stay has been… Eventful, t’ say th’ least. Lost my legs, found a sword, met a bunch a products, got some new legs, became a General, an’ I think I made friends with a dictator.”, she said, summarizing it all up the best she could. “Now, how’s yer time here been?”

Jeffree listened to Kay list off all the candy and other food products she had met during her time in the candy isle and despite the jelly bean knowing almost everybody and living in the candy ail for quite some time now he oddly didn’t know half the products she mentioned but he had seen quite a few of them walking around before like that Cecil fella, the apple girl Jessica, Lunick the lemon and that gummy snake but he never really talked to them in person but from the way Kay described them they all sounded like some pretty interesting products to be around. The others that she mentioned though the non perishables was it? he had heard about them before from his friend named Debbie a devil dog who claimed to be good friends with them but she never introduced him to them but he had to admit he was kinda interested in meeting them someday as well as those other products that Kay mentioned. He just loved making new friends. When Kay paused for a minute worried about being a chatter box Jeffree just smiled at her. “Aww, I don’t mind your rambling or the fact that your a chatter box so don’t worry about it Kay!” he reassured her with a warm smile.

As Kay continued to explain all the events she had these past few weeks the jelly bean stood there silently, amazed by all the exciting stuff that she went threw. He had some adventures himself but none like she had. “Well, boy howdy there Kay it’s sounds like you’ve had quite an eventful few weeks haven’t you?” He chortled excitedly. “I think I’ve seen some of the products you’ve mentioned before but I haven’t really talked to them in person but they all sound like some pretty interesting folk!” The southern jelly bean chuckled. “As for me my time in this isle has been quite fun like I said before everyone here is awfully nice and there’s always a celebration or some exciting event going on. I’ve also met some pretty interesting characters myself like a devil dog woman named Debbie she’s kinda scary and is a bit of a trouble maker but she’s real fun to hang around. Her girlfriend Hope on the other hand is really sweet and caring, she’s super nice to everyone I think you two might get along.There’s Zeeb a pretty rad zebra cake who’s into punk rock. There’s Corky a really funny and silly cocktail weenie who’s always telling jokes, Lord Ritzington a polite and sophisticated Ritz cracker with a British accent, Martini and Oliver the olive cousins. Martini is energetic and loves to party while his cousin Oliver is very shy and introverted. Then there’s you Kay the most adorable and sweetest Marshmallow this side of the candy isle. He winked at her with a bright smile.

Kay listened excitedly throughout his spiel, taking mental note of all the new names she was hearing so that she could meet these products later. When he mentioned her name, she felt a light blush cover her face. “Why aren’t you jus’ th’ sweetest?”, she teased, trying to cover up her embarrassment over the compliment. “Those olive cousins sound like little sweethearts! You’ll have t’ introduce me t’ them some day, alright? I jus’ love t’ meet new products!”, she exclaimed, her eyes lighting up. Candies in general were sociable, but Kay was something else. Being made almost entirely from sugar, she was almost always in a bouncy, bubbly, cheery mood. She had a knack for making friends with even the coldest of products, and she was rather proud of that. In fact, the motto she had lived by for most of her life was “An enemy is just a friend you haven’t made.”

“Aww, I try Heh heh!” Jeffree chuckled bashfully while rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment at being called sweet. He noticed the blush on Kay’s cheeks and mentally smiled she was just so adorable when she was embarrassed. “Oh, yeah they really are though Martini can be a little over whelming sometimes he’s still a great guy and super fun to hang out with but yeah I would totally love to introduce you to them and the gang sometime I just know they’ll love you and perhaps you could introduce me to some of your friends too? I love meeting new products as well. He told her with a bright smile. “So what brings you to the candy aisle today?” he asked her with a friendly expression.

I found all kinds a cool stuff over in that Dark Room place!”, she explained, opening the bag to reveal various baubles and trinkets. “Y'know, I think you’d love t’ see my friends some time! I’ll have t’ arrange everything up so y'all can all meet!”

Jeffree’s eyes grew big did she just say that she’s been to the dreaded dark room?!?! The jelly bean thought in a panic. He had heard some pretty nasty rumors about that place and that you should never go there unless you never wanted to be seen again. He was quite amazed at how brave the little marshmallow was and very happy that she made it out alive. He cleared his dark thoughts as Kay showed off all the neat stuff she got while in THAT room. “Oh, awesome, you got some pretty nifty stuff there Kay!” He told her with a smile. When she mentioned introducing him to her friends he grew excited. “Oh, would you really? that would be so great because I’m quite interested too meet them they all sound so nice!” He said excitedly. After he calmed down a little his voice suddenly became serious. “S-So you’ve been to the dark room huh? so h-how was it? he asked nervously. “I had heard some pretty bad rumors about that place and to be honest I’m very surprised you even made it out alive!” he told her in a shaky tone as he poked his fingers together nervously.
