Twenty feet beneath the Guildhall Square sits the ruins of a Roman amphitheatre from the 2nd century A.D. The outline of the ampitheatre's original foundation is marked by a circle of grey stone set into the tiling of the main square. http://bit.ly/2FVB3ki
