DEAR CRAZY KPOP FANS: CALM DOWN
I just came back from GOT7′s final Canadian fanmeet. IT WAS GREAT. The boys are so so so attractive and have AMAZING stage presence. Each performance was better than the last.
My one complaint?
CRAZY FANGIRLS. Girls -- you guys mainly look like you’re about 16-20 years old. You guys should have learned what’s acceptable in society and what’s not, yes? Because it sure didn’t seem like it tonight.
The amount of people who pushed and shoved their way past security tonight was insane. I was in row D but I didn’t run for the stage. Instead, I witnessed countless security guards being tackled and yelled at for doing their jobs. I felt like I was watching Train to Busan all over again, with zombies climbing on top of one another. Yes. That’s what you looked like. Reflect on that.
This is unacceptable behaviour. We were all here to see a group we love. GOT7 are the sweetest boys who care a lot about their fans. There was one moment when Jackson saw all the ugly havoc, and the look on his face as he asked everyone not to push was heartbreaking because he shouldn’t have to be worrying about that while trying to spread love and joy overseas. All I’m asking is that we all respect the rules which are put in place for a reason (it was a fire hazard to have too many people in front of the stage). Respect the people who are working hard to ensure that we have an event to attend. Respect your peers who are there trying to have a good time and not be stressed about breaking their backs. Finally, respect yourselves -- don’t become savages. Your ~oppas~ definitely aren’t encouraging this kind of behaviour. That’s all I had to say;
