Peach, cooking: When I asked for a spoon, I meant the utensil.
Thee, hugging him from behind: Oh.
Can I ask you something? How did you feel being there today? I’m grateful you introduced me to your home. That’s all?

Breaking down the etymology of Lookpeach in Thai
In Thai, ลูก (look) is the primary classifier for fruit. While it literally means "child," in this context, it identifies the object as a single, whole unit. This pattern is most common with imported fruits or fruits with a distinct, rounded shape.
Common Usage:
ลูกพีช (Peach)
ลูกแอปเปิล (Apple)
ลูกส้ม (Orange)
Basically, if you can hold the whole fruit in one hand, it probably uses the classifier ลูก. While most fruits do use ลูก, some take different classifiers depending on their shape or how they grow in bunches (such as grapes or bananas).
ผล (phǒn) is the formal classifier for fruit units. Although it literally means “result,” it functions as a technical or official classifier and is commonly found in newspapers, signs, and textbooks. For example, มะม่วง 1 ผล is the “proper” or formal way to write “one mango.” In everyday conversation, however, ลูก sounds much more natural and colloquial.
Interestingly, larger fruits or fruits typically sold in clusters—such as ทุเรียน (durian) or องุ่น (grapes)—are often treated as mass nouns, with the fruit name used on its own and no specific classifier required.
Thai people are basically calling fruits "children"... but in a very old-school linguistic way. Historically, ลูก (look) refers to offspring, so a fruit is literally the "child" of the tree. This is why Lookpeach is such a perfect pet name. Because the word for the fruit and the word for a child share the same root, calling him Lookpeach feels like calling him "Little Peach" or "Baby Peach."
