We are not wrong
So I still can't get over The Rupture... it has my emotions held captive and I think that shows the serious power they are holding over the fans with this final season.
I have watched THE scene about four times now and the whole episode 3 times and each time I am blown away by how they chose to not only have this bittersweet redemption and sacrifice of Rowena, but also the literal break up of one of the longest running relationships on this series all in one episode...
No matter what you ship or how you look at it Castiel and Dean have been the most steadfast relationship in this series excluding Sam and that is facts and this scene READS AND PLAYS OUT like a break up and a emotionally devastating one that has clearly shaken up the supernatural fanbase.
What is the the point of setting this up? Why create this story arc in the first place? They have shown season after season that they are okay leaving Cas as an afterthought and letting the boys use him for his powers and nothing more and they have never addressed it before? Why wait until the final season unless it is truly important?
In the end we might all be clowns and trust me I've been down that road so many times before (Sherlock anyone?) but we should take comfort in knowing right now that we arent clowns and we arent just seeing what we want to see... this scene was a break up scene and if it was just platonic then why the emphasis on just Dean and Cas?
Why? Because even the writers know what is there between the lines.
Happy clowning, ya'll.
if this is only the third episode of the season, will i just be dead by the time we reach the last episode of the series
you don’t like my company?
I love them so much. 😭
I reflected that the very birds were strangers to me, for I did not even know their names. And for some reason, that seemed to me the saddest of all.
