I used to be happy all the time. I’d always have a smile on my face. Things were going great for me I had someone to love, friends to love and my family by my side. What more could I have asked for right? Then I moved. I was alone. I had one person I knew 900 miles away from home. Days. Weeks. Months passed by and I became sad and lonely. I walked away from a three year relationship. Slept on a futon for 6 months. Upgraded to a bed I paid $10 for that had a sink hole in the middle. I had nothing else that I owned just a half filled closet and a bed. I partied a lot to drown the sadness in me. I knew a lot of people but never knew them enough to call them friends. Time when on these people dwindled away. My friends back home seemed further away and so did my family. Fast forward four years. I'm as lonely as ever. I can't move from my bed cause all I want to do is cry. I don't ever get calls to hang out and do stuff. I have lunch and dinner alone. It's always just me. I cry more often than I used to. I watch as others have fun and do things. And all I do is lay here. People don't understand that. I don't ever talk about my feeling but when I do it's accompanied with tears rolling down my face. But I guess that's life. Some people were just meant to be lonely.

It’s scary to find someone that makes you happy. You start giving them all of your attention because they’re what makes you forget everything bad that’s going on in your life. They’re the first person you want to talk to in the morning and the last one before you sleep just so you can start and end your day with a smile. It all sounds great to have that someone, but it’s scary to think about how easily they could just leave and take that happiness away too when they go.
