"Is that what you want?" he said laughing slightly at her accent. She’d gotten better at it since they’d gotten there. It was cute the way she imitated his accent. "I’ll have it fixed up for you. If I get near the barbie, you know whats likely to happen. I don’t relish the idea of single handedly burning Australia to the ground."

“Yeah, don’t do that I would like to come back here some day.” Jen laughed. “Plus I don’t want to visit you in prison for burning down your home town, That would kill me. Not seeing you in prison, I think you would look good in orange prison garb, but having to come all the way to Australia once a month to visit you in the slammer. I love you but I think you’d be a lost cause at that point.” Jen chuckled slightly as she spoke to her boyfriend.

"Oh I see how it is. Burn Australia down, trying to cook for you and I get no love. Thanks. You’re so sweet." Liam said straight faced.

"I'm sorry but you will probably never get out of jail for that. We would have to have a shot gun wedding and then never have kids. Unless by chance we have a conjugal visit and I happen to get pregnant, but what kind of life is that for the kid?" Jen couldn't help but think how trashy this whole conversation sounded and was suddenly grateful that it was just a thought and not actual happenings. "But luckily we will just bypass all this by never letting you cook and we can continue living normal lives and loving each other."

"Oh yeah? What’s that?" Liam asked looking down at her. He had no idea what she was going to say. Sometimes he could guess where she was going with a train of thought, but he was stumped this time.

“That, that look in your eyes, that twinkle that you barely notice but I mever miss whenever you look at me, the shine that shows me how much love you hold im your heart for me, promise me that will always be there because its a look of pure , unrequited love that makes the butterflies in my stomach go crazy for you every time.” Jen slid her hand up into his hair as she spoke.

Liam stopped walking and turned to her, a soft smile on his lips. His eyes locked on hers, Liam wasn’t sure what to say. “I promise, that I will never look at you any other way than I already do. I love you, Jen. More than I had any idea it was possible to love someone. You amaze me, everyday, ever second of everyday, you amaze me. That won’t change.”

For a moment, Jen was silent. The lovestruck grin still plastered on her face and eyes still on his. “Good.” She nodded. “Because I have never felt the way I do with you ever before and I love the feeling I get when I’m with you. ” She pulled her bottom lip between her teeth for a moment and then spoke again. “You make me whole.” Jen never realized that her life was missing something until she found Liam. Of course they had been friends for a long time, but it was only as they became lovers that she noticed how much more meaning her life had.

"Thats good," Liam said leaning down to kiss her. "Because you make me whole too." he spoke softly against her lips. She was the most amazing, wonderful woman he’d ever met and he was lucky she picked him.

Jen smiled into the kiss at his words, He was so good to her. Reaching around his body, she gave his but a pinch through his swim trunks before pulling out of the kiss and leaning her forehead against his. She felt as though, even though there were people all around, the two of them were in their own world.

Jen smiled and took her board from her boyfriend. “Let’s do this!” She cheered heading towards the water. “Maybe I’m just too clumsy for surfing.” Jen commented as she climbed into a seated position on her board.

Liam smiled as he watched Jen catch a wave and stay on her board. He couldn’t help but shout in triumph. It was a little wave, but it was a start.

"You know, he said paddling over to her. "We should get you lessons when we get back to L.A. Surfing over there is amazing."

“Eh” Jen started waving her hand. “Too many people know me there. I think I’ll keep this as a vacation activity. Then I will have something to look forward to.” Jen didn’t really care about what others thought about her, but she also didn’t want a giant audience as she fell off her board and onto her face in the water. “Let’s go make some food, I’m starved.” She spoke as she paddled back to Liam.

"Sounds good to me." Liam say up on his board as a wave came and let it glide him in as far as it could. He hopped off before the back flow took him back out and picked up the board. "We’ll leave surfing as an Australia activity." He said as Jen followed him in.

“good.” She answered following him onto the beach. “I don’t know anyone here so that’s perfect!” Jen picked up her board from the sand and carried it as she walked next to her boyfriend.
