I love this photograph. When I grow old with my wife I still want us to go dancing.  I don’t care if our hair is grey and there are wrinkles on our faces. I want to dance with my wife. It shows that you are in sync and in tune with the one another. There is an intimacy but it doesn’t necessarily have to be sexual. It’s an expression of our affection to each other.

If someone is wearing makeup in the pool, don’t deliberately splash them. If someone has done their hair nicely, don’t mess it up. If someone in a t-shirt has scars on their arms, don’t ask them about it. If someone doesn’t want to get in the water, don’t push them. If someone still wants to wear jeans, don’t laugh at them for it. If someone has sweat patches, don’t point them out. If someone’s chest is obviously prominent, don’t stare. If you can see someone’s underwear/ binder, don’t comment on it. If someone is blatantly covering something up, don’t try to reveal it.

Not everyone can feel totally comfortable with the fact it’s Summer, don’t make them feel worse.

How to feel like an Angel✨

• Give yourself a day dedicated to self care! Deep condition your hair, paint your nails, do a face mask and just relax, girl

• Take a nice steamy shower or bath, fill the bathtub with your fave bathbombs or bubbles and just soak it all in

• Exfoliate your skin and get all the dead skin particles off! Go out and find an exfoliant that you love and try it out

• coconut oil is great for your skin, hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows, just not too much but every once and a while helps just enough

• Remember to get plenty of water! Try to drink a bottle before you go to sleep and right when you wake up

• Try to incorporate as many fruits and vegetables as you can into your diet

• Start a nightly facial ritual after you get out of the shower -Scrub your face, apply moisturizer, spray with a rose water mist, etc.

•Apply a hair oil after you shower into your hair to help give it a nice shine once it dries, this is especially good if your hair is damaged

• If you dye your hair a lot look into buying/using hair masks to help replenish it

• Everyone loves taking hot showers but dont do it too much because it can really damage your hair/skin, try to finish off your shower with cold water (doesnt have to be too cold) to at least rinse out your conditioner!

• Visit your local book store/library and just browse, look through all the books in the different sections that peak your interest. Maybe even start a small library of your own at home full of books that interest you so no matter what happens you will always have a good book to sit down and read right in your room

• Start listening to podcasts, how to guides, just anything where you can just learn something new, it’s always great to learn new things

• Buy yourself a satin or silk lingerie set

The most important thing is however, if you feel like angel, you are an angel.💕

Born with a lack, I, the piece that cared was missing.  Never bothered with what people thought of me, never had time for embarrassment or comparison.  I was this, they were that, both were loved, all in between was accepted.  There was not a question of this that plagued me.

Right, in a way, I suppose they were, it did grow, spread, and transform. Now, more than ever before, I have no time for how I’m perceived, for the apprehension or anxiety of self.  I am this, and have been all these years.  

There has never been a question of this.
