I visited soo many places, the eiffel tower at night! Which was breath taking, while we ate crepes which were just as amazing!! It has a beautiful light show but its beautiful the first night for the first five minutes of the hour then it just gets out of hand haha! I couldnt imagine living near it!!
We also visited the house of Van Gough, Victor Hugo, and saw a few flats of Picasso and the cafe he used to draw at and get free meals for paintings.
I saw the Pantheon, Place de la Concorde, Musee d'Orangerie, Garden des Tuleries, Jardin Luxembourg, Pont des Arts, Grand Palais, Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre, Montmatre, Sacre Coeur Basillica, Moulin Rouge, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Rolling Stones Museam, Versailles, Bastille, Hotel des Invalides, Republiques, Champs Elysee, Arch de Triomphe Montparnasse, Catocomes and so many more places in Paris!!
I would have to say out of the few museams Ive been too while I was there, my all time favorite would have to musee d'Orsay! It has some beuaitufl Van Gough and many more. famous painters. We saw a masculin exhibit which was really good but some were questionable if it was really art.
Those were a few in Paris, we also travelled to Bayeux to go to the Dday beaches but because its off season there were no more buses going there so we assumed "its probably not too far we can walk it", later on we really regret those words. It was nearly 2 and half hours of walking and we still weren't there. We ended up walking back without even seeing any of the beaches because it was soo dark! We ened up just watching films and eating junk food all night once we got back because we did soo much walking that I needed to sleep, but it was a rough day!
The next day we headed to Reims! It wasnt too bad but agian because its not season for tourists you need to book to go into the champange houses and well we didnt know. So we never did go into a champagne house or caves but we saw the rows and rows and a lot of the houses from the outside and bought a few bottles while we were there as well. Then we saw the cathedral in Reims, did a bit of shopping, went for food at this pub called "les trois brasseurs" and i accidently ordered a raw steak patty!!! It was the grossest thing ive ever tasted and well the beer made up for it because that was fantastic!!
In the evening we watched films and drank a bottle of champagne that we brought and decided to bring a few back with us.
We met a few aussie friends on our last days and went out with them in Bastlle, that must have been one of my favorite times because we had so much fun and they were great! Overall It was an amazing trip, just didnt fall in love with Paris like i thought I might have. I much rather live in London!
