Nobody said America couldn’t help Ukraine but America has its own issues that it should tackle. I like how you ignored all of that just to reduce it to gas prices but on the subject of gas prices, if people can’t afford gas, they can’t get to work, they can’t work, they can’t pay their bills, which most are struggling to do already.

We have children starving in this country, people without access to clean water and experiencing housing insecurities. I’m really not sure what kind of image media outside of the US portrays America as, but we have our own issues that have been unaddressed for ages.

I know you all think we drive luxury cars and live in mansions and are selfish for wanting funds allocated to our wellbeing, but i promise you that it’s not that simple, and that poverty and lack of access to medical resources are huge issues. It’s not about us not wanting to give money to Ukraine, it’s the fact that we don’t have any many to give to Ukraine.

We cannot allow Russia to overthrow Ukraine because it won’t stop there. Russia will look to gain more power and resources especially because they are getting cut off left and right from the rest of the world. The moment they invade a nato country, which is almost every other country on that western boarder, US and other country will be REQUIRED to intervene. We do have a lot off issues with poverty, sickness, etc but it will get a lot worse if we have to go to war.
