hi alexis!!! what did you think of wicked wonderland!!!!!

CHRISTIE HI!!! Ok so overall I do like it more than the first, and I am curious to see what they do for a third movie, but there was something to it that I felt was lacking. I was sad to see the trend happen again of introducing characters and then not using them ( i.e. Smee twins, Robbie). I get it though with run time and stuff they can only do some much but still. I will say standouts for me were both of the Hatters, Hazel, and of course Red. Favorite song has to be Mad, though I can’t decide which version of it I love more because the girlies did great with the cover but I also love how wacky the original is.

Really quick, it’s been a minute since I’ve seen rise of red so I can’t remember if they did this too but I loved how they made Chloe’s and Cinderella’s clothing more silver than blue, like a nod to the original Cinderella dress color and kinda like knight armor. Speaking of clothes, idk if it was intentional but Pink’s fits were giving Alice with like the collars and mary jane shoes, it reminded me of how they did Snow White related colors and stuff with Evie’s outfits in the first movie.

I’m not even gonna get into the implications of time travel in this universe and with the original trilogy I’ll lose it lol. OR even the craziness of being sent to THE ISLE for saying time travel was real. Anyway, I think what we really needed was a Red/Luis version of “Jaladdin” in the final number. Maybe next movie.
