Hi, it’s been two weeks since I went to see Käärijä perform on that cursed day at the village held by the cursed contest I once had a three decade long deep and undying love for. Somebody said I looked like a lesbian ver. of Käärijä... which is what he is but ok.

Context: In Reykjavík on Eurovision day (11. may), a lot of performers joined forces for a Charity Variety Show (Cabaret, circus, drag, burlesque...) to raise money for Iceland-Palestine Organization. The show was in the club of National Theatre, where a lot of variety and queer shows are hosted. The show had Eurovision inspired acts and references, but most importantly: unity - that you felt through the amazing audience ♡♡♡

Being a dragking was trippy af but I had so much fun!!

based on the accolade by edmund blair leighton i was originally gonna draw this for the goofs after seeing the training stuff these two filmed but then scrapped it….and then Everything happened and while i didn't personally watch esc i wasn't expecting that an artist could possibly be done more dirty than what happened last year but clearly this sham of a contest always finds a way. anyways i decided to finish this
