This is my first time actually having interest in someone so HELP
So. I'm in my second year of high school and the way most high school works in my country is that you're placed in a class and you stay with that class until you graduate. And we don't do the system where different subject = different class. So it has been quite a while and my classmates and I are very faimiliar to each other.
So, there's this one guy, let's call him Jay. Jay is a classmate of mine that I wasn't actually close with in the beginning but then in the 2nd semester of year 10, we got placed in a group together (for a drama project) and then we got pretty close to each other from then.
That was just a little context to what I'm abt to tell you. And yeah
Recently, Jay and I has gotten a lot closer to each other than before. My like for him as a friend has kinda change into a lil crush (I'm just very attracted to his personality) .But like I'm really confused on whether he actually like me back or he just wanna keep it platonic. Cause boy be sending off mixed signal. And I'm just confused and I don't wanna get my hopes up for nothing. Like, first the teasing. Yes he does tease me before but now it just feel different and like a lot(?). For example, when he's joking around, he would just suddenly include me, even when I'm not even in the conversation or not really paying attention. Second, everytime my classmate and I hang out or like play games when it's freeclass or smth or when we're doing groups project, he would always chose to sit or stand beside me? And he would always manage to sit closer and closer to me and he'd also like to lean towards me (???idk how to word it but yeah). Third, the subtle touches. He would just occasionally throw subtle touches here and there, esp when he's sitting beside me.
Idk, this was kinda long and my explanation is kinda vague but what do yall think? And like what should I do?
