i wish for my own happiness

i’m only seventeen

i honestly have no idea what to say, think, or do.

i once begged god over and over for a boy to love me. i prayed until my knees became sore. he then finally told me how he truly felt. i cried every single night.

september came. i daydreamed of my career. i planned my future travels. i learned french. that was when the heavens decided that it was finally time. a new boy entered my field of vision. he fell for me.

and i honestly have no idea what to say, think, or do.
