today (12/16/19), patrick rodriguez (art director for rt animation) and sean murphy (animation producer for rt animation) as well as several unnamed people, were let go from rooster teeth.

i understand i’m very far removed from this now and i understand the hypocrisy of me not watching the stream this year (so i lack context) and still making this post but. idk theyve been doing it for the past couple of years and its always seemed (to me at least) like there’s always an undertone of comedy and gag with every kiss. that + the fact that ppl are paying money for this to happen (and i understand the money at least goes to charity but still. when you get right down to it people are paying money to see 2 men kiss) idk! we’ve seen time and time again that rt is a creative company that has lots of ideas for things to do on stream. i don’t understand why they feel the need to continue to resort to “give money to our stream and these 2 straight men (who don’t normally kiss other men) WILL, IN FACT, kiss each other!! wow how wacky and crazy is that!!”

i’m not saying cancel the stream im not saying cancel rt i admire the work they do it’s an incredible thing. all i’m asking is for y’all to think critically about the content they’re providing Especially since theyve had incidents of Bad Content in the past!

I am SO FUCKING PROUD of Geoff.

He looks genuinely happy, healthy and so much younger now that he’s been fighting alcoholism for what? More than a year?

Kicking an addiction is fucking hard and he’s been doing so well. He must have had such a hard time lately but he’s so fucking strong and even as just a fan watching his life through their content, I am so proud of how far he’s come.

Geoff deserves so much love and respect.
