this scene happen before their first kiss, Marianne is painting her because Heloise finally accept to pose (and her mother is gone so they are more free), they begin to understand that there is something between them, they started burning from desire, and this is where Héloïse isn’t a object anymore because she observed Marianne too on the other side, she is part of this creation, this is the beginning of a collaboration between the two of them ready to collapse .

translation:

part 1 this scene is at the beginning of the movie, it happen before all the videos I post, Marianne just arrived, here Héloïse entered Marianne's room to talk to her, they smoke and then they talk about music, and Marianne begins to play piano. this is the first time that they can look at each other, we already see their desire.
