â if he were them, he would silently watch him draw away, too. it was better this way. he had not fought with anyone for so long. he had not been angry for weeks.
blue means so much to me, btw
he didnât want to leave andrew with nothing, but what could he possibly say?
the choice was death or hurting Adam, which wasn't much of a choice at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@chbnet pjo show countdown event â 2 days left (the sea of monsters)
You shall sail the iron ship with warriors of bone, You shall find what you seek and make it your own, But despair for your life entombed within stone, And fail without friends, to fly home alone.

âMatt Boyd, starting backliner for the Foxes. Iâm the one whoâs going to be wrecking your goals this October. Nice to meet you.â
@novelsnetâ event 01: get to know the members â the seven husbands of evelyn hugo
"doesnât it bother you? that your husbands have become such a headline story, so often mentioned, that they have nearly eclipsed your work and yourself? that all anyone talks about when they talk about you are the seven husbands of evelyn hugo?"
"no, because they are just husbands. I am evelyn hugo. and anyway, I think once people know the truth, they will be much more interested in my wife."
Maybe we all come here and fall asleep and have the same dream.
âaccording to your thesis,â he said, âan influx of adrenaline and a desire to survive gave you that talent. not god. this isnât divinity, eli. itâs science and chance.â
âmaybe to a point, but when i climbed into that water, i put myself in his handsââ

but it wasnât that henry was less of himself in english. he was less of himself out loud. his native language was thought.
for @sonyasemyanovna, happy bday kafka âĄ
Do you think the adults ever looked at neil and andrew and just remarked about how young they look? 18 and 19 at the beginning of the books. theyâre like Babies compared to them.
Like imagine betsy listening to andrew tell her about how he feels responsible for the safety of his family. and heâs just. so so young to have this much weight on his shoulders.
And abby tracking neilâs scars with her eyes. sure sheâs seen a lot while working with the foxes, but this⌠not to mention wymack picking neil up from the airport and noticing how small he is when heâs cradling his broken body in his arms. how he has more scars and bruises than unblemished skin

âso, imagine weâre all born with a set of feelings. some are broader or deeper than others, but for everyone, thereâs that ground floor, a bottom crust of the pie. thatâs the maximum depth of feeling youâve ever experienced. and then, the worst thing happens to you. the very worst thing that could have happened. the thing you had nightmares about as a child, and you thought, itâs all right because that thing will happen to me when iâm older and wiser, and iâll have felt so many feelings by then that this one worst feeling, the worst possible feeling, wonât seem so terrible. but it happens to you when youâre young. it happens when your brain isnât even fully done cooking - when youâve barely experienced anything, really. the worst thing is one of the first big things that ever happens to you in your life. it happens to you, and it goes all the way down to the bottom of what you know how to feel, and it rips it open and carves out this chasm down below to make room. and because you were so young, and because it was one of the first big things to happen in your life, youâll always carry it inside you. every time something terrible happens to you from then on, it doesnât just stop at the bottom - it goes all the way down.â
