I think I brought this to a Gramp’s meeting one hundred years ago. Never followed up on it. Took me a while to figure it out. Never give up on your dreams!
ADULTS next show is Sunday 11/8 at 7:30PM
After a two year break I’m back in the sketch game. This time as a writer-actor on Magnet Sketch Team, ADULTS
Clearly things are going great! Check out our new show this Sunday, 10/18 at 9:30pm
Last week’s Ariana Grande show might be one of the best things I’ve ever been apart of and all I did was play a dead body. The rest of these folks killed it.
We’re up every Wednesday at 8pm in October at the Magnet in case you were wondering...
Long time no Tumblr.
Here’s an overdue plug for STOCKTON: THE FUNDAMENTALS.
Stockton is a sketch team at Magnet. I’ve had the opportunity to direct them for almost a year. They are fucking great, stupid and smart. The Fundamentals is their best of-best of and has been running all July.
Check out the last two shows of their summer run. Thursday, 7/23 & 7/30 at 10:15PM at Magnet Theater.
STOCKTON is Eli Itzkowitz, Michael Lutton, Diego Martinez, Catherine Montesi, Samuel Palmer, Will Quinn, Phoebe Tyers, Andrew Vuilleumier, Matt Wassung

We got Harry on May 27th, and by the next day, he was dying.
He wasn’t eating. He wasn’t drinking. He wasn’t doing anything but coughing, gagging, and vomiting. We called BluePearl, an animal ER, and were told to bring him in immediately. They diagnosed him with severe infectious pneumonia,...

I Came Here For an Argument
I’ve been meaning to tumble more. I figured an easy way to do that is to post thoughts related to improv or sketch stuff every now and again. So here’s that.
Arguing
Arguing in an improv scene is fine (I do it constantly). As long as it is constructive. As long as it helps frame the unusual thing. As long as it helps establish stakes in regards to context. As long as you continue to explore your relationship and your world. As long as it is just one tactic a character uses to achieve a goal. As long as you realize that only your character is trying to change your scene partner’s mind.
Keep the want. Keep the emotional choice but change the tactic. Are you a principal? How would they act? Are you in public? Who’s watching? Dealing with a family member? How close? That context will dictate what the next move is.
As long as you have framed the unusual thing. As long as you have established stakes in regards to context. As long as you are exploring your relationship and your world. As long as you realize that you aren’t trying to change your scene partner’s mind.
If you’re too focused on protecting your thing you'll miss everything else. I think that's the jist of this thought. So there's that.
Tonight I hit the stage with my fifth Magnet house team...
I'm ignoring all of the career and life anxiety that brings up in order to think it's cool. New Team Hardy is up at 10pm tonight!
We had our shit together team photo wise. Pictured below Commando (2007-2008), Featherweight (2008-2011 --- they're still active), LIFE BREAK, All American (2013-2014), Dawson (2014)
All of these inspirational commencement speeches reminds me of the most inspirational speech I had ever witnessed. #RIPGramps
Huge congrats to Mike Still! The Artistic Direction of UCB LA is in good hands.
Hey let’s all give a big congratulations to Mike Still aka the new Artistic Director of UCB LA. I love that little red headed man…i mean look how little he is in this photo. Baby Still all growed up. (i guess this also works as a #tbt)
