☀️☀️Unfiltered Sunrise☀️☀️ . 🙏🏻Because God Doesn’t Need A Fistler🙏🏻 . I was woke this morning at 3:45, about 15 minutes before my alarm goes off. God does that sometimes and likes to wake me early so I can discover something. At least that is what I think, because why else would anyone get up at 3:45 am and be on 🔥🔥. . Jumped online to try to discover what was I tore for the day or what revelation God has for me today. What I found was some people in pain, struggling with the quarantine and looking for support. . So today I reached out to some strangers, offered a helping hand and encouragement, tried to shore up their faith and share what’s helped me through some of the most challenging times of my life. You see over the past 24 months my life went from what I thought was the best, then to what I knew was the absolute worst. I was in physical and emotional pain like I’ve never experience before. I literally was living day to day not knowing if I was going to make it. . Through it all there was one thing that I realized. That if I’m willing to let go of the conversations about myself that aren’t true, surrender to and live in this moment and trust in God fully, he will fulfill his promise of provision and protection over me and my family. He pulled me out of a dark place, restored me and has called me to serve. . So today I serve by sharing my journey and daily ritual that has become the most important part of every singe day. It might sound crazy, but you have to ask yourself...what would you be willing to let go of, to have it all?? . ☀️Share Your Sunshine Today ☀️ I want to share what helped me let go and trust God fully. I was lost but I began to look in and reconnect with God and my true identity with a daily ritual of looking, listening and seeking the spirit, I spend 2 hrs a day connecting listening to silence and just listening for what God has for me. Ya, 2 hours seemed crazy to me too...but it’s the most important thing I do each day. It’s given me the ability to let go of conversations/lies from the past, surrender to what is in the moment and trust God fully for what’s to come. 03/24/20 COVID-19 before pic - just finished hanging the pull-up bar. Taking my workouts to the next level by adding TRX and pull-ups to the mix. We’ll see what 100 pull-ups a day will do to the body. . . I’ve always wanted to find the time to get my pull-up game in order. I guess I found it. 👍😉 . . Exercise is such a great stress reliever. It helps both mentally and on your physiology to help reduce the effects of stressful situations. I know over the last year it’s been a pillar in my life when I felt like everything was falling apart. But that’s life, how we react to it is our choice. Life happened and we choose...that’s the way it is and the way it will always be. . . Don’t let your current situation choose for you. Choose something greater than your current situation. . . Just like the COVID-19 situation. Are you going to let it choose your mood, affect your life negatively or are you going to choose something greater. . . Mindset & Belief is the first step! Lock your mind tight and believe it...then you will see the opportunities that have been right in front of you all this time. . . Blowing off some steam with the kids. Don’t worry I read the stay at home order in my county and it specifically said we can go out for exercise as long as we exercise SOCIAL DISTANCE! . . The beautiful part was there are very few people on the road. So it is really peaceful out there. . . I wanted to share something that gets me through times like this just in case there are people out there with worry, fear, or anxiety building in them. Peace, Be Still. There are a lot of things that we can control and a lot of things we can’t. But the one thing we can is our mind and what we chose to focus on. . . I encourage you to focus on the fact that life is happening for you, not to you. All things work toward creating in you want you need for the next stage in your life. It is always a blessing or a lesson and you should never feel like you are alone. . . God is good and although you may turn your back on him, he never turns his back on you.
