I made the Bean a t-shirt onesie until the official one arrives tomorrow. So much better than the cone.

Bella got spayed today. This is her first cone experience as well as mine. I’ve never had a dog need to wear one before. I really am thankful for that since it sucks. For both of us. She just won’t move when she’s wearing it. She’ll stand her until you help her move somewhere else. We’ve taken it off to give her some small amounts of food and water, but otherwise her face is right in by the stitches which is a big NO! Thanks to several suggestions from some awesome dog lovers - we just ordered her a dog onesie made especially for post surgery instead of a cone. 🤞🏻 We just have to make it until Monday when it gets delivered.

She’s been such a champ and gotten lots of love today. We were planning on kenneling her as that is what we normally do and then vet suggested, but she barley had room to get through the door with the damn cone. I just couldn’t make her sleep all squished in. So now we’ve made a makeshift kennel using baby gates in our room that’s about 3 1/2 x 8 next to the bed so we can have her close and she has more room.

It almost feels like I have a newborn again...

Bella got a horrid haircut. She looks like a poodle and it’s awful and hilarious and she looks very upset with this.

Also: camper is ready for our first trip tomorrow!

Camper things. We are almost finished. New tile backsplash tomorrow and the rest of the curtains.

We bought an old camper to renovate. It will be a labor of love.

This weekend we dug in and tore off the wallpaper and ugly valances. We painted and brought in the pillows we ordered. Bonus because the dogs look like our pups! Still trying to find a Remy pillow tho.

Attempting to live my best life during quarantine. Not all days look like this. If I’m honest, very few actually as quarantine co-parenting is a rollercoaster ride I want off of.

But this day was a good day.

I can’t seem to stop doing projects. This one is truly a big pain in my ass and I’m pretty sure I’ll need to go over again with some grey, but goodbye 80s rock.

The deck is done and it’s so great! M did such a nice job!!

My entire mission this summer was to find a romper I’d actually wear.

Thanks to a target clearance rack this little number was $15 and perfect for work.

Am I 100% confident in it? Nope. I’m wearing it anyways.

Bella Bean is growing!

She’s now claimed Noah’s baby blanket as her own. She’s 90% house trained and afraid of everything. She knows how to sit, come when she wants, and loves Zoe and Doodle.

Bella was very interested in our Tenzi game.

The deck is done (except the railing)!!!

Also the new pup is still as cute as ever.

1. It’s hot. HOT.

2. A cold beer would be awesome but only drinking water in June.
