11/23/2021 || 7/100 days of productivity
More reading today. Nothing academic related at, really. I did three loads of laundry, deep cleaned the bathroom, tidied the kitchen and living room. K and I had a bunch of errands to run. It was a busy but productive one in way of our household stuff getting done.
23 November 2021 ✨
Had to start organic at some point - can't keep running forever.
And plant physiology - the 11th grade portion - never took this seriously in school, I hope I could grasp the concepts easily and without giving this too much time.
Update about Physics : I don't have any brain cells left that I could overwork anymore. Thank you.
Do I have time to study novels? No.
No I even plan on starting them? No.
And did I still brought one more too *looks down in shame* well yeah
Red (tv) released a week ago and I'm still obsessing over it so while practicing calligraphy I decided to give the lyrics of Nothing New a try.
Ik it's not that good but - I AM STILL LEARNING. OKAY!
And I can't thank @raee-studyblr enough! Thank you so much for reaching out that day and putting forward the idea of studying together. We're both so much productive now ❤️💕
10.10.21 | good noon!!! today’s tactic is to do a modified pomodoro. I just finished a 2-hour session and about to do some cleaning before I shower!! for today it’s just neoplasia, pediatrics SGD, para lab and some surgery because I just did requirements yesterday and I have no regrets 😳
november - reading before class & fall vibes
11/22/2021 || 6/100 days of productivity
Finished reading “No Words” by Mag Cabot. That’s my 48th book this year! Started in on “Echo Mountain” by Lauren Wolk.
K surprised me with a phone call telling me to check outside for a surprise package. He teased, saying he thought I should wait until Christmas to open it but wanted to do something special to thank me and show his appreciation for all the work I’ve been doing around the house on top of getting back to my studies. I sent him the link for this beautiful case for my markers and pens for my Christmas list.
Finally finished the content category skill cards! Now I can start the researching process. I took a break to work on organizing my 2021 books I last minute decided to track via my notecard system. 😂
Of course, my Old Man, spent the entire day lazy on the couch. I expected nothing less.
11/21/2021 || 5/100 days of productivity
Slept in this morning. Did a lot of reading. Baked chocolate chip muffins for fundraiser. Enjoyed a great evening with K when he got home from being away on work trip.
11/20/2021 || 4/100 days of productivity
I started my morning by reading. I primarily spent the day baking cookies and making an insane amount of pasta salad for a fundraiser on Sunday. It literally took the whole day and I still have more cookies to make!
11/19/2021 || 3/100 days of productivity
I finished “The Downstairs Girl” by Stacey Lee. 5/5 stars and my favorite book this year. Currently sitting at 48/50 books for the year, I’m certain I will reach my goal by this time next week.
I went to the library to pick up my next set of holds. I’m very excited for this round of books. I started “The One and Only Ivan” this morning, I’ve been encouraged to read it from one of my fifth graders.
Worked on more content category cards. In the home stretch of them now, finally. I anticipate research will start Monday, Tuesday the latest. I even broke out the hot chocolate mix I made from scratch a couple weeks ago. Very much needed.
Today, I choose to give my best.
Day Six of the Tranquil's winter studying challenge: If you could write any research paper or study any niche area within your field, what would you study? OR, if this doesn't apply to you, what field of study do you want to go into?
I would love to study international economics
what made you want to study agriculture?
Hello, Anon.
Thank you for your question!
Agriculture science has been a budding interest for the last couple of years. I previously spent four years working in a public high school as a support staff while contemplating going back to school. I've always wanted to teach, but after spending the time that I have in a high school setting, I couldn't pin point what I wanted to teach. I was mixed between history (my never dying love for history will always hold a soft spot in my heart when it comes to academia) or English. I even contemplated math (which is hard to believe but is another story for another time).
I spent time talking to one of my high school teachers who had recently restarted the agriculture department at my alma mater. We discussed her classes and I became more interested. I feel like agriculture has always been something I've been interested in, but no one helped me explore it previously.
I think it's incredibly important, especially the area of Kansas I live in to teach our youth agriculture science in school because more than they realize is agriculture in their day to day lives.
Believe it or not, this is my short and condensed version of this answer.
The human urge to spend days reading in bed, treating yourself kindly and letting go of the past mistakes🌺🌼🌻
2/100 days of productivity | human biology. again.
Since the past three days have been so productive I’ve decided to keep the ball rolling with the 100 days of productivity challenge. I think it’ll be a fun way to stay motivated over the next couple months and to keep myself accountable for tasks I’ve been pushing off. Let’s call this day 3/100
