Thought I'd switch it up and share some new work I did for the very lovely & gorgeously masculine (wink wink) Elodie. Along with my MU & Hair muse Nikola S. It's been an intense summer with so much shooting & working (and by working I mean with my camera! YAY) I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunities that have come my way, and the people that I have met & had the chance to work with.

A few images from a recent portrait session in Liberty Village a couple weeks ago, and it was amazing.
Amy Follwell is a custom Jewellery Designer here in Toronto and made the move back to our beautiful city after working in NYC at Tiffanys! She will be launching her own custom line of engagement rings soon, which I will keep you posted.
It was a beautiful day of shooting, and I am really looking forward to a warm summer and many more fun shooting experiences.

Today was so awesome.
Opened my windows, drank a lot of coffee, cleaned and danced around my apartment, booked a piercing, worked with some amazing people, ate a burrito, and had my photo taken by an amazingly talented lady.
I’ve been incredibly stoked on life lately, and it’s perfect.
The best day to have a birthday, the day there are no expectations, happiness just happened to happen. Thanks Maddie <3

So inspired by morning light right meow - I think just the sunlight in general. Lately, I have been waking up early and seeing the most lovely shadows move across my wall as I get ready to head out for the day. It has been such a dark, grey winter that I almost forgot how lovely it is when the sun rises. I have been inspired by this new sun and was prompted by my brain that I need to use this in my work.
I have two portrait sessions booked this week with two beautiful individuals that I can't wait to base the entire concept on existing ambient light. Absolutely excited. I love love love my job.

So its been over a year and three months since I left San Francisco. I can't believe how time flies by. I remember the days, while I was there that I was counting the days to come back home. And yet here I am meow wishing (on this cold miserable Sunday in Toronto) how badly I wish I could be back at the Redwood Forest wandering around with krissy (as seen above ) and livin the life in Cali.
This photo is taken in the magnificent forest known as the Red Wood Forest. The trees are so tall it hurts your neck to look up at them to see how tall thy grow. There is a magic in the air, and you honestly feel like you are apart of something magnificent & real. Its like mother nature is literally holding you in her palm and you just sit there in awe. No matter how much of a digital, gadgety girl (say that five times haha) I am, I will always prefer the comfort of the natural and the outdoors.
Here's to summer. Should be arriving soon. right? (apparently not, TORONTO SUCKS.)
