MERCI NOTRE DAME DE PARIS!!
MY GOOD ANON I HAVE TRAGIC NEWS.
Merci, Notre Dame de Paris is on a, likely, permanent hiatus. As is this blog (which I'm gonna use this anon ask to use as my sad little info dump for).
I do still love le bossu. I mean, he's an integral part of me forever, I think, and it's not just the back pain or the enjoyment of church bells, obviously.
So. I'm actually on here actually answering this - that's because I'm...weirdly making my way kinda back onto tumblr. Strange. I know. Me, too, anon, me too.
When Notre Dame herself caught fire back in 2019 it really fucked me up badly. Badly enough that I actually had to step away from all things Notre Dame related. Then, I experienced the greatest loss of my life a couple years later and less than a month after that, met Angelo del Vecchio at the NYC premier of the full French musical production of Notre Dame de Paris. And by "met" I mean that I loitered outside the theater with the cool kids who knew what they were doing. I have a signed Playbill. It is framed along with my ticket.
But, I am still writing - so if you were a fan of that specifically, check out my new blog. There's a link to a fic I have in progress on AO3 (because I'm evidently too classy to use FF.net anymore ahahahaa).
Unfortunately the fandom for said fic is not HoND. There is a new hyperfixation - it's fuckin' Baldur's Gate 3. And D&D/Forgotten Realms in general. And yeah, before you @ me, yes. Yes it's the vampire elf. I know, I know, I'm basic.
Perhaps one day in the Parisian spring we shall meet again and hear the tolling of those glorious bells from the beautiful soul trapped in that twisted grimace.
Until then, I bid you all, adieu.
