Hey! I'm so sad to hear about the cancer. Without saying too much, I really hope you recover quickly without any complication. On the other hand, it seems like you are doing really well over there? At least I hope so. Hearing about the things you've done makes me want to go back. Please take care!

Yo! It’s been a while! So I have CML (chronic myeloid leukaemia) which is an incurable cancer but generally very manageable- the treatments are pretty new but we believe that you can live a normal lifespan with them. Where I got unlucky is that I was diagnosed pretty late - I’d probably been sick for quite some time and not known. So while most people go straight into remission as soon as they start treatment, I’ve got a much longer fight ahead of me. Sucks that this happened to me at 26 but I have faith in the Japanese medical system.

Otherwise I’m doing pretty good, I’ve seen and done a lot that I wouldn’t expect. I’ve hung out with a lot of cool people, been to a lot of interesting places, fallen in and out of love twice, made some money, lost all of it, and made some more. My life would be pretty cool if I hadn’t gotten cancer lol
