Kemetic Deity Exchange 2020

Extremely exciting to have made it to the fifth annual Kemetic Deity Exchange! It gladdens me from the bottom of my heart that this event as been so successful and that the love we have for our gods and Netjeri is boundless. I hope you’ve had as much fun as I’ve had! May this year be again joyous and your connection meaningful!

What’s KDE?

It’s essentially a weird version of secret santa where instead of the applicants getting presents, it’s their Netjer! You fill out an application with what the Netjer would like and the person assigned to Them preforms whatever offerings you asked them to and gets to know the Netjer a little better.

For example, if I sent in an application saying I wanted my recipient (the person assigned to your Netjer) to bake a cake for Bes, my recipient would do just that! They could include other things if they wanted, but what I’m trying to say is that it’s a lot more simple than it sounds like.

And I know it says “exchange”, but you don’t have to make any commitments! It can be just for the day if you want it to be. You’re definitely not barred from giving gifts to the deity you submitted, either!

Applications will be closed on DECEMBER 12th You will be assigned a Netjer on DECEMBER 13th Gifts will be given to the assigned Netjer on DECEMBER 27th (or as close to that date as you can manage!)
