Erik smiled and nuzzled her hair playfully. “I know hence the reason I’m not letting anything damper your mood, what do you wanna do tonight? Toast smores so you can dance round the fire while I watch you and feed your snack loving chops? We can do whatever you like”
“Awe you’re so sweet.” she nuzzles him. “Im comfy right now.”
“Only for you though” he teased as he cuddled her back. “Then we’ll stay like this for however long you like”
“well good. I’m the only one who deserves it.” She says with a playful smile. “You’re the best.”

Erik grinned and leant down to softly kiss her cheek, resting his head against hers as he nodded. “I’m glad you are, you’ve had a tough couple weeks trying to be there for everyone it’s nice to see you having fun, not having to stress” he murmured as he stroked her hair.
Zarina shrugs, sighing. “It’s fine… I’m fine. It’s just nice today…”

“Sun and good food. There’s nothing that could ever top this!” Zarina smiles as the breeze hits her face.
“Aside from stormy rainy days and warm bedsheets and a lot of cuddles and hot drinks while listening to the rain against the window” Erik shrugged as he approached the other with a soft smile reserved specially for his girlfriend. “But I have to agree, guess next time we raid the food cabin we should certainly stock up on the fruit”
Zarina smiles, and wraps an arm around him. “I’m just having a nice time.”
Erik grinned and leant down to softly kiss her cheek, resting his head against hers as he nodded. "I'm glad you are, you've had a tough couple weeks trying to be there for everyone it's nice to see you having fun, not having to stress" he murmured as he stroked her hair.

ooc: okay so if I still have internet tomorrow I swear I will reply to starters on erik tomorrow and possibly make my own, it’s just been a horrendous few days preparing for college so I’ve been cram packed and I’m shattered; also important note!! my internet is going off some point this week and it can’t be paid till friday so I’ll be on a semi hiatus on all my accs till next Wednesday :-)

Erik hums and pouts. “ Zee its just in his nature probably, part of who he is as a person and a brother, everybody is different, you may not show it in the same way but believe me its obvious you care a lot for him too and that you try in your own ways to be there for him as well, the most important thing isn’t what you do or how you show it, its that you try” erik murmurs as he kisses her head softly. “ oh i bet you have your sources” he teased with a grin as he poked her cheeks. “don’t take that tone with me miss, you know i’d never tell you not to” he chides back with a playful stern expression before he catches one pillow then falls on his ass as the other hits him. “zee that was uncalled for c’mon” he teased as he looked up from where he lay positioning them.
“Yeah, you’re right, but still I never thought it was fair.” She didn’t add the part lurking in the back of her mind. “Thanks though.” She smiles. “You never know.” She smirks, knowing he doesn’t know the truth behind his own statement. “Exactly what I thought you’d say.” She giggles, throwing another at him. “But it was a perfect throw, can’t deny it.” She says, flopping down next to him.
"I guess it's just how emotions work, they're little bastards sometimes" Erik agreed softly as he smiled back at her. "Always" he murmured seriously before raising an eyebrow at her expression and giving her a suspicious squint playfully. "Oh god I'll stick with not knowing God knows what you say about me, "I'm dating an albino snake with asthma" probably" he teased as he looked back at her and gasped in mock offence. "Oh you see right through me babe" he murmured as he caught it and held it to his chest. "It's always gonna be a perfect throw with you, you've got the super human powers to help" he laughed as he looked over at her and stroked a strand of hair out of her face.

“Hey, there’s no reason for you to feel bad zee it isn’t your fault it’s our lousy parents at the heart of it and it was inevitable anyway, don’t beat yourself up over inevitable things it’s a road that leads to nowhere and more pain and stress than you need, you’ll burst and I don’t want that for you.” He kissed her head and twirled her hair in his fingers with a smile. “Don’t tell anyone it’s like one of my top secrets, I only share it with pretty badass hot crazy haired athletic girlfriends and stupid puppy like bestfriends” he grinned and tapped his nose playfully. “My my dare I say that you are flirting with me once again miss Brady? There is just no taming you” Erik teased with a playful growl. “Always” he murmured as he smiled into the kiss and slowly pulled away from her. “Sounds good cause I mean I’m definitely impatient” he murmured as he set up a space in the more comfortable lounge area of the dining hall.
Zarina just shrugs. “Yeah but like… I never thought it was really fair, him raising me and himself when we’re the same age… And now he’s offering for me to go to medical school and it’s just… damn.” She sighs and leans into him. “Who would it tell?” She giggles, cheeks turning pink at what he called her. She wrinkles her nose. “Would you prefer me to not flirt with you?” She teases. She tosses some pillow at him, not seeing if he catches them, they hit him, or they fall on the floor.

I mean that’s something people do I guess although typically the guy tends to think the best part is putting it in her” Erik chirps up with a grin as he watched the other in his drunken suffering. “Boys are fuckin amazing” Erik agrees in enthusiasm and then pouts at the other crawling over and pinching his cheeks. “Listen mister pouty face you’d be an awesome boyfriend but hell knows she’d probably kick your ass if she saw you this slaughtered” he laughed and squeezed the others shoulder and tilted his head in concern. “Is she close to you? It’s not unusual for best friends to feel a little odd at first when a newbie pipes up into the group and means something more to one of them but it’s not like she’s signing a contract stating he will be her boyfriend and it is final. Artie it’s one date bro, people don’t usually fall head over heels on one date and in a camp like this? There are so many people it’s way too early for someone to commit after one silly little date when they have so many options surrounding them it’s highly unlikely someone else won’t catch their eye eventually. Listen okay?” Erik looked him in the eye and held up his finger for emphasis as he nodded supportively. “One date, one date means nothing believe me you don’t make that kind of commitment after one date it’s way too soon yes she could have a perfect date and be cooing about this guy for weeks but at the end of the day he could easily fuck up at any time and put her off or they could both fall for different people, maybe he’s like you really, maybe he’s got a girl bestfriend who he cares for a lot and doesn’t want to see with anyone else but maybe he gets on with life and carries on seeing other people anyway because he knows he can’t force her to understand why he doesn’t like it if even he doesn’t know himself” Erik shrugged and lay down beside the other with a small and soft glance. “I’ll let you into a secret, when I first met ariella I thought she was beautiful I mean what guy wouldn’t? you know better than anyone how awesome she is. I assumed from that it was like some crush but it was your situation with ariella that showed me the truth about how I felt and all it was, was an attraction to ariella which was natural but not something even close to a crush… I fell for zarina a long time ago but she was so close to me I managed to just pass it by and completely disregard the fact it was there and you guys gave me the nudge to be able to finally actually be with her.” Erik shrugged and pursed his lips looking at the other. “All I’m saying is sometimes it takes this kind of nudge to realise what all those feelings inside of you really mean but it’s not wrong if you don’t understand them without this happening, it’s the nudge you need because you’ve grown comfortable with the feelings and it’s made you dismiss them until now”
Arthur listened to his friend talking, bottom lip jutting out in a pout as he took it all in. His brow furrowed as his drunken mind attempted to pick apart each thing Erik said and analyse it. “But one date leads to another date,” he mumbled. “And then she’ll have less time for me and she won’t be allowed to cuddle me and then she won’t be allowed to see me and then she’ll be in trouble and I can’t help her because if I save her then it’ll be worse but I’m awful because I didn’t save her and - and - and–” he broke off with a frustrated sigh and rolled onto his back. “Erik, I don’t even know what I’m feeling,” he said, sounding drained. He turned his face towards his friend and opened one eye. “…wait, say that last bit again. The bit about the - about the - the always fe-feeling it.”
Erik hummed and gave the other a small, concerned look as he chuckled at his slow thought process and glanced between the other and his book, he’d decided to grab artie and him some food anyway since he was starving and it was in both of their best interests. “ Dates always have to end eventually, its either good or bad, commitment or move on to better things but.. i don’t think she is going to commit quickly to just anyone any time soon, if you care so much i bet she isn’t that kinda girl, you have a lot of time left to change her mind artie” he chuckled and rolled his eyes placing the snack in front of the other. “ not all guys are out to protect and rule over their girl, i’m sure you’d find ways to see her even if he didn’t like it but in this camp? that kind of behavior is seriously unlikely to be tolerated and it would be treated as suspicious to see someone controlling another in that way” he sighed along with the other and wrinkled his nose in thought. “ labels are just a social construct man, you don’t have to have a name for everything that goes on inside of you” he smiled softly and lay down beside the other gently nudging his shoulder and wrapping an arm around him. “ the bit about always feeling it but not realizing its been there because you’re so comfortable with it? well its like bestfriends or childhood sweethearts right? they don’t know they’re destined to fall in love because in their eyes they always have been in their own way so they can’t tell the difference between loving each other and being IN love until something happens that makes them realize they need to get their ass into gear and seize the moment”
Erik hums and chews on his lip as he looks back at her, gulping softly. “Yeah I know that feeling I mean you know how my parents were, it was all about money and business, so be it that we were reckless and fucked up messes so long as it didn’t interfere with adult responsibilities” Erik scoffed and shook his head. “Obviously always” Erik said with an exaggerated shocked look that she would believe any different before breaking out into a smile. “Well good I’m glad it worked out for you for more reasons than one” Erik teased with a wink as he leant in. “Hey he’s taken care of you all this time I think I’m more than happy to bunk up with a man like that” Erik shrugged before looking up through his lashes and smiling as he kissed her back gently and slowly parting her lips with his own as he closed his eyes and gently tilted her head so her neck was arched while he pressed feather light kisses there. “So about those chips, you wanna find a picnic blanket and some chair cushions and make a little love nest?”
“yeah, tell me about it, I know all about that. Ant raised us both, which I always felt bad about…” She shrugs. “You’re sweet.” She giggles. “Yeah, I suppose so. It’s certainly come in handy.” She smiles, licking her lips. “Well I’m glad you think that.” She hums into the kiss, biting her lip as his lightly skirt over the skin. “Sure. I’ll get right on that.” She pulls back and searches for the blanket, pulling one out and searching for pillows.
