It had been a few days since his run in with Eliana at the shop and when he had dashed out he heard old man Yasuhiro call out to him, but he had been to lost in his own thoughts and emotions. He had mellowed some, and he was craving something sweet. He portaled his way close to the shop, he needed to get gramp’s permission to portal into his back room when he came to get snacks. He really didn’t want to have to bother someone every time he wanted to get a snack.
Besides, and ex-knight should be adequate protection from anything!
He came in and smiled to the counter. “Yooo~”
He’d been uneasy, since bearing witness to that conversation. Concerned, on a few different accounts-- Of course he’d not let it hinder his management of the cafe, and of course... he’d be too iffy on whether he should chase after the boy once all was said and done. So he’d done his best to carry on like normal.
But on Reese’s return to his quaint little shop-- He smiled back at him. But it may fall to a more weary sort.
