Hiatus Announcement

Hiatus Type: Indefinite

So, actually, I think I might just put Jill and the Hartz Family on Hiatus for now. The reasoning is quite simple; my muse for this blog has kind of died due to my inactivity. I do have plans to start roleplaying her again but I don’t think she’ll be specifically Cuphead related.

I’ve given some thought to the whole Face Card thing I got going on and how they have their own way of life and their own little Secret Society thing. I thought that, maybe, it belongs in it’s own kind of verse. When I re-open the blog, I plan to have changed her story quite a bit.

Not to say that I won’t roleplay with the Cuphead community, it just won’t be Jill’s main verse anymore.

I won’t really be on this blog anymore while I figure out story and what not. You can either hit me up on Discord, if you have mine, or on my personal blog, @tpetitgai.

Okay, real talk here.

I really need some opinions on this matter. Not because I don’t know what I should do, but because I don’t know if I see a point in the Family Matters Arc if no one’s going to interact.

I would like to advise everyone to block and unfollow dapper-dice. I have been getting messages from several people informing me he has been harrassing them and making them feel all around uncomfortable. A lot of these people have asked to be kept anonymous for their own privacy. 

He has been doing everything from pressuring people into sending him nude pictures. 

To racial slurs. 

To rape jokes

To all around pressuring people into doing things that generally make them uncomfortable. 

tl;dr : DAPPER-DICE/SALLY-STAGE-PLAY HAS BEEN SEXUALLY HARASSING OTHER ROLEPLAYERS AND THROWING RACIAL SLURS AROUND. 

Please spread the word and make it known we don’t tolerate this sort of behavior in our fandom.

Okay, real talk here.

I really need some opinions on this matter. Not because I don’t know what I should do, but because I don’t know if I see a point in the Family Matters Arc if no one’s going to interact.

Barely anyone interacted with the Jack of Hearts event, in fact I think only one person really did and, to be honest, that’s... kind of disheartening. While the event itself was character development / story reveal, I made Jack of Hearts an event for a reason.

I wanted to roleplay with people and give others the chance to interact with a character other than Jill, for people to build relationships with my characters for possible future events.

With the amount of ‘interest’ I’ve gotten on both the Jack of Hearts and Queen of Spades events as well as this poll... Man, I don’t know. I’m starting to feel like there’s no point in having the arc anymore.

Earlier I said I would continue the Queen of Spades event where I left off ( which wasn’t very far off from the beginning of it ), but I was wondering. Should I restart the entire Family Matters arc in general?

Doing this would mean that I would not just restart the Queen of Spades event but also restart the Jack of Hearts event. We’d essentially be going back in time to before Jack came into the Casino.

This would give the chance for others to interact with him as well as a chance to change what happened somewhat and learn more things about Jill and The Hartz Family. It wouldn’t change the ending drastically per se, as the story is still structured to have certain things happen, but there might be a bit of a change in the meeting between Jack and Jill if people interact with him.

So, let’s take a Poll. Please vote here for what you would like to happen.

Permanent Starter Call

Since I’m cleaning up my blog, I figured I’d re-make my Permanent Starter Call.

The idea behind this is that, if you like this post, you are okay with me writing up and tagging you in a starter relatively out of no where. I have a few simple rules that I will follow:

I will not just randomly tag you in a starter that has no substance what so ever. It may be something small and quick or something that we’ve discussed in the past and I had an idea of a starter for it.

In no way do you have to respond if you don’t have the muse / have motivation for the topic / just generally don’t feel like it. As a side note, don’t feel obligated to reply to a tagged starter right away! Take your time.

Lastly, I will not write up a post if either of us already have quite a few threads going. I don’t want to stress either of us out with more things to respond to.

As some of you already know, I’ve been doing a Blog Cleanup as of late. I’ve finished the blog up, for the most part, but now I’m getting into who I follow and who follows me.

As my rules state, 

Under No Circumstances will I roleplay with a Personal Blog, this includes Personal Blogs that are used for Roleplaying as well. In fact, I typically block personal blogs unless they specifically state that they have a Roleplay Sideblog. I will also never Follow personal blogs, Only the Blog I wish to Interact With.

To re-iterate; if your Roleplay Blog is a Sideblog and you follow from a hub / personal blog, please send me an ask stating this so that I do not block your blog.

Jill laughed softly at the comment, her heart aching somewhat afterwards. It really was ridiculous...

“ It was m’father’s idea. My mother wanted to name him Jack Edwards, but my father insisted that his middle name should be Jackson because it rolled off the tongue much better than Jack Edwards. “

Her father, evidently enough, was not exactly the most sensical.

Blog Update; Where have I been?

So, long story short before I get into any of it, I’ve been just kind of Lurking. I’ve been here and have had all the muse in the world for Jill but life has been hella stressful lately. Motivation just kind of shriveled up and died, y’know?

I do plan on coming back, however. There’ll be a bit of Winter Cleaning before I get started again, but for the most part everything will be the same. Jill will have all the same story, all the same relations. The only things that will be changed are things that will need to be changed.

I’ll let y’all know when things are back up and running. I’ll probably re-start the Queen of Spades event once I’m done.

Hey, everyone. So, I promise I’m not dead and I apologize for being away for so long (more on that later). But, here! Take a couple of JOKERs!

Pan & Sun are not characters on this blog but, rather, are characters in one of the Hartz Sibling’s future in a specific roleplay I have going off-tumblr. They are twin JOKERs which, in the lore of Face Cards for this blog, is one hell of a Rare Occurrence.
