hey guys. once again, there is another person plagiarising stories from tumblr and on youtube, out of all the platforms. their channel is called J U L I T A and they have copy-pasted many, many fics into videos with pictures and music.

they have plagiarised my fic siren in this video, and i messaged them to take it down. their videos get thousand upon thousands of views and their channel has 3.5 thousand subscribers.

they’ve plagiarised from writers on wattpad as well. here are other stories they’ve plagiarised from content creators on tumblr:

personally, i have no idea how to go about getting the videos down through youtube if this plagiariser refuses to take the videos down. if anyone knows, please reply or message me or something. this plagiariser gets dozens and dozens of comments praising them for their hard work and i’m worried someone who’s let it get to their head will not take the videos down simply because i commented on them.

as a reader, if you can please leave comments on their videos pressuring them to take them down, that would be very helpful. i’m so fucking sick of getting messages from people saying they saw my stories reposted on another platform and this is fucking youtube. like the whole point of stealing fics is to not work for recognition, right? imagine being so far up the wall that you spend hours editing a thirty minute video and copy-pasting somebody else’s hard work just for views and comments on youtube.

i don’t know what more we can do as content creators to stop getting our shit stolen. i literally have had text selection disabled on desktop for 3 years and you can only copy one paragraph at a time on tumblr mobile, meaning this person either typed my fic out or went paragraph by paragraph for literally hours. it’s insane like to what lengths do we have to go so people don’t plagiarise us anymore i’m at a fucking loss.

again, please if you can leave comments on this person’s videos and tell them to take them down and to maybe not steal other people’s work again, that’d be great. please don’t send them hate or any threats, though, that’s not the right way to go about it.
