Hermione was almost done working on a paper for Charms class in the Great Hall when she heard her name. She looked over to find who the speaker was.

"Hermione!" Jimmy shouted as he stumbled into the great hall, trying to hold all of his books without dropping them. He walked over to her and sat across from her at the table. "I've been looking for you. I didn't see you in the common room and the girls said you weren't in the dorms. I was going to ask you to look over my essay because I really need to do well on it."

"What? No!" Jimmy huffed, causing the few strands of hair that were a bit too long to blow up only to fall back in place.

She catches Jimmy out of the corner of her eye and she turns with a smile, ready to tease him like she normally does until she takes in his demeanor. “Hey, are you okay?”

At the sound of her voice Jimmy jumped and spun around. His hands were clammy and the sight of the green that lined Millicent's robes made him nervous. She may be the only Slytherin he trusted, but right now that was completely out of the question. "Yes." He was a terrible liar and he knew it. Milly always seemed to be nice to him and he'd fawned over her since she was a first year. "Just out of breath from running." From your stupid friends, he added in his mind.
