My reptile boots made of Lizard or Snake Skin...they're from Xico, Mexico.🐍 I wanted to experiment and thought of doing a cowboy version of Gideon with my boots and green hoodie because I don't have the snake lab coat yet. Lol, It was a burden to put all that makeup on my body, it's a little grey in the picture and I've tried fixing the color but yeah.

Victor is often accused of negligence – like, why did he leave Grace all alone and unsupervised in a hospital full of zombies if she's so important to him? And I think I have a solid defense for him.

Sure, Victor made plenty of questionable choices throughout the game, but in this case, people are missing one key detail: there are security cameras installed all over the clinic, and Victor has direct access to them right from his visor. This is clearly demonstrated to us the moment Leon arrives at Rhodes Hill.

He keeps an eye on Grace through the cameras the exact same way, sees that she can hold her own, and therefore doesn't intervene. But there was one instance early on when Grace couldn't handle it – the Girl grabbed her, slammed her against a radiator, and dragged her into the dark. And at that exact moment, when Grace was in real danger, Victor was already rushing to her rescue. But Leon beat him to it.

If you recall the cutscene, Victor was standing right in that same hallway, staring at Marie's shot-up head. He was just a second too late. If Leon had been delayed even slightly, Gideon himself would have been the one rescuing Grace from the monster. Which actually sounds pretty fascinating.

Now I really want an AU like this.

Have you noticed that both main villains in RE9 are cosplaying – one as Wesker, the other as Spencer? Victor even wears the same hairstyle as his master. Just like Spencer, he wants to trigger evolution using a virus and become the leader of humanity.

If we take this thought further, I feel like if these two had reached the ARK together, Victor would have ended up completely repeating Spencer's fate. Because it's doubtful Zeno would have shared Elpis with his old colleague. Just as Wesker considered Spencer unworthy of becoming a god, Zeno despised Victor and saw him as unworthy of the power Elpis could offer. A new world can only have one god. Before administering the injector to himself, Zeno would have aimed a revolver at Gideon. And Victor, under the influence of the Nemesis parasite, wouldn't have even been able to put up a fight.

(I wonder if Victor had considered this scenario, and whether he had a backup plan for a case like that?)

So in the beginning of the Rhodes section, when Victor winds up in the area where Grace wakes up, it's probably because he was coming to check on her, right? Hc I've had for a while is that he was late because the outbreak was a little more chaotic than he was anticipating and that's evidenced by the mess in his office, which is where I think he was when Code Six initiated. He had every intention of being there when Grace wakes up, but gets there and she's awake and free and Leon's there and so is the Girl. Whoops.

I always found it a little odd that Victor fixates on Leon right then when he could've slipped back in the shadows and chased after Grace instead. Why?

New idea -- Victor thought it was Leon that freed Grace from the inversion table. It certainly looks that way, how else could she have escaped?? Maybe he even thinks that it's Leon's commotion that lured in the Girl. Victor would've wrecked Leon's shit anyway but fun to think it's yet another instance of Leon ruining Victor's plans and that it spurns him enough he goes straight for Leon's jugular and carries a grudge thereafter.

Frees Grace, then is such a nuisance Victor has to leave Grace's side to take care of him instead of going to ARK with her, and then stops Victor from scooping Grace off the floor of ARK, and then kills him. No wonder he's had enough of him]
