Point is basically that Will is a borrower who got separated from his family after he was kidnapped (don't ask) and somehow ended up in Mike's basement which he can't get out of for reasons that make sense when you read it. They start exchanging notes and eventually (one painful slowburn later) become friends. We need more slowburn g/t romance. We also need more of the concept "borrowers hating humans instead of being afraid of them" cuz honestly i don't see it enough. Will faces a terrible identity crisis after meeting one singular kind human. Enjoy.
