It was no fun using the front door like a normal person… he would miss out on the wide-eyed looks people gave him when he used the window, after all! Especially Tsunayoshi’s reactions, which were one of the funniest things Byakuran had ever witnessed. Did that make him cruel, wanting to see Tsunayoshi startled?
Okay, it did. Kind of. It wasn’t like Byakuran claimed to be a good person.
“Marshmallows qualify as a substitute for anything, Tsunayoshi-kun,” he said in all the seriousness a person like him could muster (when he wasn’t trying to achieve anything). “All the best for the coming year, Tsunayoshi-kun! Let’s hope Reborn-kun keeps you safe these next twelve months, too.”
It definitely made you a cruel person, don’t listen to anyone that tells you it doesn’t make you a cruel person. Tsuna’s eyebrows raise at Byakuran’s ’serious’ response, looking to the marshmallows in his hands contemplatively. It probably wouldn’t kill him, but then again, his sweet tooth was nothing compared to Byakuran’s. It made Tsuna wonder how much it inwardly killed the other male to actually hand these over.
He probably had more, but still.
“Reborn’s the most likely reason I will not be safe. But, y-you know, thanks I guess,” he’d dare anyone to tell him he was wrong, but he was also pretty sure most people would agree. “--Do you wanna share them? Uh, the marshmallows, I mean--” Tsuna figured he should at least ask.. he couldn’t eat them all himself anyway.
