First ever song of the day!!!

This is a personal favorite of mine, and my favorite RATM song.

The main idea of this song is to "Take The Power Back" from the government, and return it to the people. People should do this from self education, learning the lies and flaws that have been told over and over by those who are trying to feed off our weakness.

"The present curriculum, I put my fist in 'em Eurocentric, every last one of 'em See right through the red, white, and blue disguise With lecture I puncture the structure of lies"

This verse is stating how American history is taught from a Eurocentric viewpoint. How we're told what they want us to hear.

"The teacher stands in front of the class But the lesson plan he can't recall The student's eyes don't perceive the lies Bouncing off every fucking wall His composure is well kept I guess he fears playing the fool The complacent students sit And listen to that bullshit that he'd learned in school"

Zack de la Rocha brings up how the education system is made to learn what the government wants you to learn. Doubled by the fact the teacher learned these things in school, and repeats the cycle of teaching it to a new class.

This song speaks out heavily against the government and its flaws in modern society. I hope y'all enjoy this one as much as i do!
