The Audio Verse Awards are back, and we’d be honored if you would consider nominating the HAVOC crew for some awards! We’re a small but mighty team and, though lockdown threw us for a loop, we should have new content coming in the next few weeks. We are aware that we’ve been saying that since March, but this time it’s really, truly happening. We’re all (mostly) back in the same town and have a real, live, official recording sessions happening this week, we will not leave you hanging forever! So stay tuned, enjoy the rest of the show, and remember to nominate your favorite podcasts to the Audio Verse Awards!
You can nominate shows here: https://audioverseawards.net/nominate/
And you can find additional information about our cast and crew at our website: https://bchavocpod.wixsite.com/havocpod/home
Text version of our potential nominations are under the cut.
HAVOC
A New Sci-Fi Horror Audio Drama, written and directed by me (please check it out! it’s very cool!)
HAVOC is an audio drama podcast told in transmissions between Houston and NASA’s High Altitude Venus Operational Carrier (HAVOC). Seven years ago, something on the HAVOC went horribly wrong. Ever since, the research station has orbited Venus as a ghost ship, a silent testament to the astronauts who never made it home. But the HAVOC is silent no longer. Something on the ship is stirring. An impossible distress call forces radio operator Noah Anderson and doctor Avery Beck to unravel the truth behind the HAVOC tragedy, before it unravels them.
Our first episode releases March 1st, 2020, but for now you can check us out on twitter (@HavocPod, https://twitter.com/HavocPod) and instagram (havocpod, https://www.instagram.com/havocpod/). Stay tuned for new cover art and a teaser trailer later this week, as well as some behind-the-scenes footage of our first recording sessions!
editing....
Sometimes you have no time to work on your project and sometimes an entire plotline clicks in your head on a random tuesday night because of one simple change
anyways there might be a big update coming soon
Hello! Welcome to Havoc!
This is the official blog for the podcast Havoc!
This blog is currently run by @queerspr0ut (writing this, hi!) and @jinxfish (more to be added though!).
Current production status: Working on pilot casting!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
May they keep our balance:
In vitam,
Post mortum.
(Synopsis coming soon!)
And, just like that, the HAVOC crew is back together! It’s been a long, strange road - over the past few months, we’ve had to get funding for remote recording equipment, purchase that equipment, and wait for it to make its long, slow way through the mail system. But good things have been happening, too! Two of our members - Fitz (the voice of Noah Anderson) and Coop (the voice of the Director) - have graduated college! Our writing team has been finishing up the series scripts! We can’t wait to bring the rest of this show to you guys!
If you need a new podcast while in quarantine (or just a short show to burn through while you wait for Season 5 of tma), you should give @havoc-podcast a try! I wrote it so I’m a little biased, but I think it’s pretty great! If you like mysterious space transmissions, ghost ships, and vague cosmic horror, HAVOC will be right up your alley.
