Absurd Biography

Jordan Shippee was born January 31, 1992 in the town of Manchester, Connecticut to Robert and Cynthia Shippee. He is known for being the life of the party and currently holds the world record for number of Funyuns ever stuffed into a man’s anus. However, he is perhaps most noted for his stint as a tabloid obsession during his years as a junior hockey player.

From a young age, Jordan became infatuated with the sport of ice hockey. At age 15, he became the projected #1 overall pick in the upcoming NHL draft, for which the NHL was willing to make an exception on their age policy due to his sheer phenomenal talent. Tragedy soon struck the lives of the Shippee family, however, when Jordan was rendered ineligible for the draft and banned from the sport of ice hockey when rumors surfaced of his sexual escapades (many of which involved spouses and girlfriends of his teammates and coaches).

When his dreams of being a multimillionaire athlete were dashed, Jordan took to the world of art, where he continues to be one of the most prominent and prolific painters of erotic realism. In 2010, he was reprimanded for his exhibit in his high school showcase for the graphic nature of his work that strictly depicted a variety of vagina portraits. But before the administration was able to remove the work, the wife of his former coach—an apparent patron of the arts—bought all the pieces in Jordan’s exhibit for over $10,000. Jordan took the money and left high school to pursue his artistic passions.

Jordan continues to work and live out of his Scooby-Doo-themed VW van, which he uses to tour hockey rinks all over North America in search of female inspiration. The last known sighting of Jordan was in South Dakota, where he was arrested for an incident involving sexual acts with a hamster.

Missouri man arrested at hospital for refusing to leave gay partner April 11, 2013

A gay man was arrested at a hospital in Missouri this week when he refused to leave the bedside of his partner, and now a restraining order is preventing him from any type of visitation.

Roger Gorley told WDAF that even though he has power of attorney to handle his partner’s affairs, a family member asked him to leave when he visited Research Medical Center in Kansas City on Tuesday.

Gorley said he refused to leave his partner Allen’s bedside, and that’s when security put him in handcuffs and escorted him from the building.

“I was not recognized as being the husband, I wasn’t recognized as being the partner,” Gorley explained.

He said the nurse refused to confirm that the couple shared power of attorney and made medical decision for each other. “She didn’t even bother to look it up, to check in to it,” the Lee’s Summit resident recalled.

In a 2010 memorandum, President Barack Obama ordered hospitals that receive Medicare or Medicaid funding to allow visitation rights for gay and lesbian partners.

Research Medical Center pretends that it does not discriminate based on sexual orientation: “We believe involving the family is an important part of the patient care process,” the hospital said in a statement. “And, the patient`s needs are always our first priority. When anyone becomes disruptive to providing the necessary patient care, we involve our security team to help calm the situation and to protect our patients and staff. If the situation continues to escalate, we have no choice but to request police assistance.”

Gorley cannot currently visit his partner at all due to a restraining order issued after his arrest on Tuesday.
