what would it be like baking with the friend group ?

For all of them: absolute chaos.

Given JISUK’s spontaneous nature, trust that both of you aren’t going to follow any recipes or instructions. Homeboy just takes one quick look at the recipe and says, “Okay, let’s go.” Jisuk, you say, we have to follow it. Jisuk, you’d argue, it said three cups of salt. Not five. Of course he doesn’t listen. Of course you eventually give up and both of you spend the entire time eyeballing things instead of measuring them properly and mistaking numbers and calculations. While waiting for the goods to bake in the oven, both of you throw flour at each other and end up slipping on trash/ plastic bags on the floor that you had failed to discard, then proceed to laugh your asses off. ‘SHIT, WE’RE IN TROUBLE,’ would be the last thing you’d both think of when Jiyoung eventually comes home. Good thing you have desserts readily cooked to bribe her off from scolding you, though.

Baking with WOOIN, on the other hand, is a pleasant experience. Pleasant, but not smooth: that’s because you both get carried away chatting and/or playing games while waiting for the goods to bake or cook. Mixing, kneading, and placing batter in neat portions is calm and soothing; Wooin is quiet, and he looks happy while making food. But when something burning starts to smell, he descends into utter confusion while staring at the oven. “I don’t know how to put it out,” he’d say, “My powers will only make it worse…?” Which, okay, that’s true, but also Wooin. Bestie. The pot handle is right there. And so you both sigh in relief and take out the goods 😭 Best thing is how neither of you wait to let the food cool down; you chomp your way through the thing while doing ‘HASHADHADHSFJDSHAAHA’ noises with your mouth. The food is burnt but that’s okay. It’s…the memories that count.

SUBIN belongs in Masterchef. “Let’s get cooking, bestie!” she’d say while rolling up her sleeves, and you descend into a quick and easy division of labor as you follow a meticulous recipe. You both complain and laugh about the long story that accompanies the recipe (“Sharon, who the hell cares about your great-grandfather that trekked 5 kilometers every day to procure blueberries?” Subin says, while rolling dough,) and dance around to music in the kitchen. While waiting for the dessert to cook, you take turns spraying whipped cream into your mouth – which turns out to be sort of a problem later on, since you end up having no whipped cream to place on your final product 😭 Not to worry, though! Subin bought another one in advance. She tops the thing off with a perfect swirl and takes numerous pictures, all of which you’ll both post on Instagram with the caption, “Baking Time With My Bestie. 🥰 #Baking #Baker.” You garner a hundred likes and one (1) comment from Yoo Jisuk complaining about how the cake probably tastes bad. Oh well.

You know how JIWOO is mostly calm in other things? Well, that calmness doesn’t really apply to baking. Baking with this best friend of yours is comparable to what Hercules felt while accomplishing the 12 Tasks, since hell, did you have to multitask all at once. You’d both be cooking up a simple dessert while trying to do your best following the instructions - then when you had your back turned, the kittens would climb up and start eating your mixture, which resulted in you and Jiwoo having to wrangle the cats off, accidentally knocking some stuff over, then starting again from scratch. Jiwoo gets nervous about everything too, and you have to assure him he’s doing correctly lest your best friend ends up double checking the recipe 15 times in a row. Jiwoo is more drained than a whole afternoon of training once you manage to put the dessert into the oven - admittedly, you were too. But again, once the oven rings, you both stand up and admire your work - it’s not that bad! Jiwoo eats it all up with a happy smile on his face. You invite him to another baking day next time. You both smile and cackle ominously while receiving concerned stares from cats.

BEING BESTIES WITH THE MAIN FOUR? SURE THING. — a headcanon list.

SUBIN

- drags you to the nearest fast food restaurant at 3 in the morning

- orders only milkshakes and ice creams but steals your food

- “girl stop eating my fries. GET YOUR OWN FRIES”

- music turned all the way up lights out in the bedroom. jumping and dancing that makes the floor shake a little. you disturb everyone in the block

- late night drives while also having the music turned all the way up. its a miracle you dont get pulled over by traffic enforcers

- when she can’t come over video calls that last for 6+ hours are your thing. sometimes screen shares whatever video game she’s playing and keeps cursing throughout the whole session.

JISUK

- wants to try out roller skating with you even if he hasn’t gone to one since he was like. 7 years old

- falls on his butt before you even enter the rink

- burgers and corndogs are your go to foods. he wants to eat in every burger shop in the city for some reason.

- will eat your pickles for you if you dont like it. in exchange, though, you must eat his tomatoes for him no matter what. its a symbiotic relationship.

- goes to bridges with you and picks the lock of every couples’ love locks just for fun

- kicking and headlocking as a form of affection

- sending memes as a love language. tags you in shitposts and forwards you videos at ungodly hours in the morning.

WOOIN

- cafe hopping ❤️ going to bakeries ❤️ yes to all of these

- spends a large amount of time going on walks and hanging by the park. he takes pictures of birds, you take pictures of the frogs.

- avid fan of watching movies at home; pretends not to be scared when watching horror films since he knows he will never hear the end of your teasing

- not much of a gamer but has not ever left animal crossing untouched since you introduced him to it.

- “hey are you free right now?” (sends 7 photo updates of his island) “i got new neighbors :) and i have more fish at the museum. go visit already”

JIWOO

- binge watches dramas and tv series for nights with you. a regular audience for your ramblings

- sends 20 cat pics every day; if he doesn’t reach his quota he will apologize profusely and follow up with 20 more cat pics

- ropes you into being a regular at a cat cafe. his own kitties get extremely jealous when not only their father but also you have cheated on them with other cats

- is a disaster cook and so are you. this does not stop him from asking you to come over and cook a wild recipe he stumbled upon at 3 am while browsing youtube though.

- has recreated the Lifting Simba Scene from the lion king with you and the cats more than 3 times. casein nitrate is close to punching someone.

Okay, but hmm…something that would make sense is a reverse of what his healing power does? Like, let’s say his awakened power regrows cells and mends any broken part of the body. A good offense power would be undoing the healing, so …. tearing the joints/muscles apart or inflicting pain on someone from the inside, probably? Or just making someone feel immense pain? As Kartein himself said, there’s no limit to awakened power, so there’s plenty of stuff that can be under his fighting ability.

— Now he’s an interesting one. Taking into account his currently altruistic personality, I’d say Suman would be pleasantly surprised. The kind to lose their balance and have their breath stolen for a moment once he sees the full capability of their s/o. Might have underestimated them in the beginning (especially if it’s the sleazy ep. 101-104 (?) Suman we’re talking about here), so once he sees how truly powerful they are he wordlessly owns up to his past actions and regards them with the reverence and respect they deserve.

— The s/o is his pride and joy, he holds them to such a high praise. Especially if they’re affiliated with Baekdu, Suman knows he just has to stay in place at work and do his paperwork (and stay in place at home and do the chores) while their s/o kicks the asses of those who routinely underestimate them and Baekdu. An exhilarating feeling of love just goes down his spine when he watches them. This man is terribly smitten.

— He has to admit, it still takes him by surprise sometimes. Whenever he looks at his sweet and charming s/o (bonus if they’re physically smaller or more petite than him) it’s hard to digest the fact that they have such monstrous power within them. This doesn’t last too long, though: he’s blown away again and again when they blast enemies into bits and start making people cower in their presence.

— Is reassured knowing his s/o is incredibly tough, and greatly enjoys sparring with them or fighting an opponent together as equals. An absolute gentleman too, giving them the adequate refreshments and care they need right after.

— Somehow discovers it during sparring with them and it had never left his mind ever since. Huh, they’re that powerful? Sucheon would be in bed worrying his little head off about his crush or s/o. They didn’t even tell me? His little heart would be beating so fast. And they’re so good?

— Like his uncle, is still taken back when his cute and unsuspecting s/o goes out to wreck people’s shit up. Again, bonus if they’re physically smaller/shorter than Sucheon. He’s incredibly smitten for them: is too shy to admit it out loud but he loves watching them fight and get out their power in full display. It makes his heart flutter to unhealthy heights.

— Gets ticked off when someone makes undermining comments about his s/o - he knows for sure they can beat those jackasses to a pulp, but if he were a lesser man he would just jump those jerks right there and then. Morons should know their place. Tch.

— Proud and smug once he witnesses his s/o in a spar with someone else - a proud smirk that says ‘I Told You So, they’re someone not to be underestimated’ would be a smirk that he’d carry all day. He’d taunt those who’d called his s/o weak, a runt, or uncapable of fighting (etc.) back then – especially their past opponents. Walks past a bloodied enemy on the ground and nonchalantly says, “so much for a weak awakener, huh?” while wrapping his arms around his s/o’s shoulders.

— Incredibly overjoyed to have a strong s/o. He loves the way they can fight together, as equals on the same footing. He likes that he doesn’t have to hold back on them too, and that they don’t have to hold back for him.

— Despite the many comments and the reputation made of them, I don’t think Gangseok would ever truly think of his s/o as weak. Whether they’re weak or not, Gangseok appreciates any and all kinds of strength and only wants to focus on training to become stronger together.

— With that being said: he can’t help but smile when he sees them fight. He’s just really happy to be there and support them. In any spar that the s/o would be in, you bet that Choi Gangseok would 100% be spotted in the crowd, smiling and cheering them on.

ESTEEMED RIVAL, BELOVED NEMESIS — wherein a reunion with a good old (not-so-) enemy of yours takes you by surprise.

“KAYDEN?”

you only say this now as a particularly scathing lighting bolt hits you. ouch, okay, maybe people weren’t really joking when they said things about kayden break still being as strong as ever despite his (rumored) state of injury, but that was not the point. the point was that you, while gathering massive amounts of charged energy on the ground, were confused as fuck out of your mind, and kayden, also gathering a tremendous amount of electricity, was staring at you with the same bewildered stare you gave him.

“you — “ kayden shields himself from your attack once you get back up on your feet, his once crazed voice now watered down with pure bemusement. “you? how the hell did you come here?”

“i could say the same for myself,” a nervous laugh escapes you after a strike of lightning tears your protective barrier down. “haha, long time no see?”

you hit him. kayden glares — “what the hell, you bastard.” — then hits you back. you’re sent flying, of course, which kayden takes as a perfect opportunity to start talking again. “why the hell did you come here to fight me? we put an end to this a long time ago.”

you cough, then push outward a wave of power that breaks down the whole building kayden was standing on. “in my defense, they told me i was fighting some newbie in the top 200!” you yell over the rubble that had collapsed on top of him. “i literally don’t know why the location they sent me managed to bring me to with kayden break! and i didn’t really recognize you earlier from all the lightning, so."

“huh.” kayden makes a face as he emerges from the ruin. he’s not ticked off yet, but you were getting there. “that sucks. well, you know i’m not one to turn down a challenge anyway, right?” the air turns crisp, electric. the crazed smile comes back again. “it’s been a while. suit yourself.”

“damn…” this is what you cough out after the last of the trememndous bolt of electricity dies out. you stand up – on wobbly feet, since a taste of kayden break’s killer move can do that to a person – and get ready to charge again, but to your surprise…

“mr. kayden!” a teenaged boy calls out from across the field, a jacket in his hands. beside him was another man, and holy shit, was that kartein? “please don’t!”

“you mean kartein?” kayden snorts. “that’s none of your business. neither is my apprentice any of your business. now, shut it and let me–“

“kayden,” kartein, unaware of the important talk you two were having, cuts in. he taps his stupid expensive watch two times. ugh, the garish bastard. “hurry up.”

kayden grumbles in kartein’s general direction, and then he looks over at you. he couldn’t look less intimidating even if he tried. “whatever challenge you have in mind for me in the future, don’t even think about it.”

“yeah, yeah,” you yawn. “well, at least it was good while it lasted. look on the bright side! i had fun even if we got this all mixed up.”

kayden rolls his eyes. “sure, whatever.” he begins to walk away, then pauses. “i mean it. if any of us fight again, one of us will end up in the grave.”

“oh, is this your way of saying you care for me?”

lightning crackles across the sky. “why, you –“

“i’m kidding,” you chuckle. then you stare at him, deadpan. “like i fear that shit. i know, break, i’ll get injured, i’ll die, yadda yadda. now you go back there. because seeing –“ you gesture in the apprentice and kartein’s direction, “– whatever’s going on, at least it’s good to see you’re not dead and whatnot.“

kayden exhales, smiling slightly. it’s startling when he doesn’t smile with a maniacal grin. “same goes to you.” then he snaps back into his usual Kayden Mode. “don’t call. i don’t have to hear from you again.”

he turns his back completely, trodding off to the pair waiting for him across the field. you sigh. so that’s what happened, huh? well, rumors be damned. again, at least that bastard was alive. it would be a shame if such a great punching bag sparring partner (or whatever) like him would cease to exist.

with that , you head back.

if, by any chance, the teens were toddlers instead, here is a rough run-down of how the adults would possibly hold them:

contestant one: kayden and seo jiwoo

of course kayden holds him by the ankle like the way thetis did when she was dipping achilles into the styx like some french fry. of course kayden does this.

also lets jiwoo sit on his shoulders and pull his hair like remy and linguini from rat movie at any possible moment. if you listen close enough there are concerned adults screaming from afar

kinda versatile because he loves jiwoo. goes from picture on the left to picture on the right real quick:

overall rating: 5/10 — my personal rating would be a big 15/10, of course, but the Baby Books will not say the same. kayden (and jiwoo) may be having the time of their lives while running around and chasing some random cat on the street, but under no circumstances would an actual parent approve of kayden letting jiwoo use his shoulders as a bungee platform. ​a note to sir kayden: why 😭

contestant two: goo inhyuk and yoo jisuk

now inhyuk holds this young fellow like a proper toddler. thank you sir. 

definitely has the urge to swing jisuk around when the little gremlin bites him or something

overall super gentle and patient even when he’s At His Limit because are you saying you can be totally 100% in control when you’re babysitting yoo jisuk? 

jisuk wants to try whatever kayden and jiwoo were doing and honestly speaking, inhyuk would have agreed if not for All the Other Adults in the Vicinity immediately stopping them.

has definitely dropped jisuk at least once but no one will talk about that.

overall rating: 9/10. thank you for your service sir inhyuk. he gets to unleash all his pent up rage about jisuk biting him in the leg later on when jisuk is all grown up. (minus one point for the Dropping Jisuk incident).

contestant three: park seongha and lee subin

bless seongha’s pure soul. this man wants to do his best even when he’s terribly confused as to why subin wants to punch him in the face when he has to carry her.

very much carries subin well. even makes a makeshift infant/toddler carrier at one point. 

once opened a baby book, saw this picture, and was promptly terrified.

overall rating: 10/10. would be a great dad. he’s doing his best.

contestant four: kang suman and kang sucheon

kang suman gets it. he carries sucheon, gives him piggyback rides, all the best for his nephew, man. what a king.

absolutely carried sucheon around in one of those child carriers all the time. only stopped when sucheon grew too big for it, but if given the chance to have a larger carrier, suman would carry his nephew in it. (just kidding).

awesome uncle. fuck kang supil lmao kang suman is your dad now, sucheon.

overall rating: a solid 10/10. would also be a great dad. we love and support kang suman in here.

anon you will not believe the sheer amount of joy i experienced receiving this request. rest assured that when it comes to tumblr user jiye0ngs, i will say YES to everything about yoo jiyoung.

WHAT KIND OF DATES?

✶ — Given her standing as the chairwoman of such an influential group, she wants to properly and responsibly use at least some of her resources to spoil you make sure you are happy and comfortable on the dates you go on. In short: dinners to fancy restaurants and outings at high-class places are not out of topic when it comes to going out together. But if you ask her, even just going to the park or walking by the river is enough of a date. When it comes to you, just spending time together makes her happy already. 

✶ — With that being said, eating as a love language is your Thing. Your dates are mainly composed of going to restaurants and trying out food. You can go from trips to classy hotel bars and fancy michelin restaurants to the convenience store at 3 am and the tent bar near Shinhwa’s main building and have no room to complain — because as you’ve both agreed on, everything tastes good when you’re eating with your gf.

✶ — An ideal date for her would most likely be a whole day of spending time together. Shopping, going to museums, eating lunch — even just sleeping in and watching movies in bed the whole day together would delight her. Things like clubbing, drinking, or partying wouldn’t really bode well with her, since her duties as chairwoman tire her enough already, so whatever activity you choose to spend on your date are always as relaxing and healing as possible.

IN THE BED?

✶ — Jiyoung, in the most literal sense, sleeps with you a lot. Trust that once she’s come home and gets through her nightly routine, collapsing on the bed and on the space beside yours is the first thing she does. Within a minute or so you’d find her dozing off already.

✶ — Not much of a cuddler except for once she’s truly, deeply in the middle of her sleep. During times where you’d have to go to the bathroom her arms will be glued to you. Same goes for just before you wake up in the morning. She’s a designated big spoon, always wanting to keep you (or a pillow if her own personal human pillow weren’t around) close. Mainly for warmth, but also because she likes hugging a lot. 

✶ — A small spoon from time to time as well, but you have to be keen and grab the opportunity immediately. The time usually presents itself when you both fall asleep on the couch from working on backlogs and she’s usually too tired to rebut about ‘being the one who should give you the backhugs.’ Of course that’s nonsense. You now get the position of big spoon and give her the backhugs she very much deserves.

FIGHTS?

✶ — Fights don’t last long, if they ever do occur. Between you two as adults, you talk it through and try to hear each other out whenever you’ve disagreed on something. Jiyoung isn’t really one to get emotional during arguments; she does her best to stay levelheaded and seek out ways to reach middle points with you. 

✶ — If the disagreement somehow happens at work, you will usually find her waiting to get a chance to talk with you in person. A meeting room or a lunch room is where you’ll talk it out, and after that she’ll never fail to invite you out for lunch or dinner. More than anything, Jiyoung hates halfhearted apologies through text and misunderstandings caused by a lack of communication (this is what she always gets worked up on when it comes to watching dramas), so it’s important to her that she personally makes it up to you.

ANYTHING ELSE?

✶ — Likes holding hands. Not the biggest fan of PDA especially at work (she will always glance and smile your way when you two meet, though) but when you’re both alone, she automatically holds onto your hand. Walking down the street? Holding hands. In the car? Holding hands. Watching the same movie in bed for the fourth time? Holding hands. When asked about it, she’d just say that she likes holding hands. Simple as that.

✶ — Unfazed by scary things like world rankers, work deadlines, ghosts in horror movies, and stepmothers in dramas, but is easily flustered when it comes to you both. As seen in canon, simple praises and gestures of affection (a kiss on the cheek, brushing her hair back) will make her blush. A lot. Of course, she does this back to you with the same unfazed confidence she faces serious things — and ha, how the tables have turned once she gets the same flushed reaction out of you. It’s something of a subtle competition between you.

✶ — Matching clothes... are something you both, for lack of a better word, slay in. It comes more as dresses, suits, and formal wear to dress up in during parties at Shinhwa, but you both have an abundance of matching hoodies and socks that you wear at home. Jisuk thinks it’s corny as hell while also matching with his s/o.

Here they are!

JIYOUNG is an exemplary student. There are no doubts about this. Her grades are a neat set of perfect scores, and her performance in extracurricular activities establish how well-rounded she is. Her strong suit would most likely be sciences or literary/communication arts. Has outstanding penmanship too. Can and will run student council + club president elections. She's well-known and well-liked, both by her peers and her teachers, though she never really goes out to hang out with all of them; she makes acquaintances, yes, but due to her shyer nature she chooses to only hang around Inhyuk. Between the two of them, Inhyuk is more known as the Class Clown™️, but sometimes Jiyoung would drop one-liners that can leave the whole class in shreds from laughing. Owns sets of high-quality pencils, oil pastels, papers, etc. that everyone handles like treasure whenever she generously lets them borrow it. 

INHYUK is a prankster, a jokester, and...an honors list student? Honestly, people don’t know how he does it. He’s often seen exchanging lighthearted jokes with teachers and mischievous smiles with classmates, always with a snack in hand or a cat video on his phone but never a book or a reviewer like Jiyoung. The type to breeze through exams even if he’s seemingly not studying. Is friendly and warm-hearted and often chosen to run errands for teachers; well-known by students from younger batches as well. A known defender of people being picked on; if there’s a group of bigger kids bullying you, trust that Inhyuk will come and hand their ass to them, then take you under his wing right after. Sort of a Father Hen to his batchmates. Leaves school on time to greet each and every one of his fifteen kitties waiting behind the school campus.

KAYDEN is tall, handsome, and intimidating. Rumor has it that he’s strict, rigid, and on a 24/7 grind, beating up people who even dare look at him in the wrong way; in reality, his classmates know well enough that this guy chooses to have the most comfortable naps of his life during class (even if he is on a 24/7 grind, and even if he might go recklessly provoking people sometimes). Opts to tune in and out of lectures: he’ll listen to the teacher with rapt attention if the lesson interests him, but if it doesn’t he’ll just space out and catch up on the topic later on in the library. Self-proclaimed academic rivals with Kartein. Is nearly close to being labelled as a Trouble Kid by the teachers if not for his 1) good grades, 2) honest work, and 3) genuinely kind personality. Has dabbled in at least every single sports club in the school and came out as the top student in it each time; this charismatic and athletic™️ charm of his is only one of the few hundred reasons why he finds mountains upon mountains of confession letters inside his locker every day. 

KARTEIN is so perfect it actually hurts sometimes. He’s intelligent, he’s rich, he’s handsome, and he’s got a humorous penchant for sarcasm too — what else would you want in a classmate? He absorbs information like a sponge and never turns down an opportunity to learn something new, no matter how trivial it may seem. If it interests Kartein, it’s worth his time. Self-proclaimed academic rivals with Kayden. Contrary to popular expectation, he doesn’t join clubs or cliques: he prefers to work by himself, only taking in external input when he allows it. Keeps his seat and locker neat and tidy, never tolerating dirt and unruliness inside the classroom. His penmanship looks like calligraphy. Uses fountain pens instead of ballpoint pens. Has stabbed Kayden with it once when the latter wouldn’t stop being annoying. Like Jiyoung, owns set of premium coloring pencils, craft materials, notebooks, papers, and normal pencils —but do not try to ask if you can borrow it. No one has ever really tried, but...considering the way Kartein loves his belongings, it’s better not to even think about it.

Could you maybe give us some Gangseok and Sucheon headcanons with a short s/o who's easily emotionally hurt? Fluff and angst would be cool 💕👉🏻👈🏻 thank uuu

GANGSEOK

❍ — This guy is ... a secret softie. Always rushes to his s/o's side whenever he senses they're down, not even wasting time to start preparing their favorite food, making them a hot drink, wrapping them in a blanket and putting on their favorite movie. He knows how it takes a while for them to get back up and running when they're sad, hurt, or angry, so he stays with them and comfort them through it for as long as he can.

❍ — King of communication. He wouldn't prod at his s/o if they don't want to talk about their situation for a moment, but once they're ready, Gangseok listens to all their worries very well. He doesn't give unwarranted advice or ever blames them for their situation, and instead just openly lets them talk about whatever is on their mind. Holds his s/o's hand while they're talking as to give them extra comfort.

❍ — Because of the height difference, he always lets his s/o hide in his hoodies/jackets/ whatever he's wearing whenever they feel distressed. It's easy to do and very warm and comfortable. It's like cuddling but taken to another level. They often doze off like that, and 99.9% of the time his s/o wakes up feeling a lot better in the morning.

❍ — If ever he happens to be around the person who caused hurt to his s/o, he will not hesitate to actually beat them to a pulp. Of course, because Gangseok is very levelheaded, he rarely ever loses his cool and just shoots glares that mean ‘touch my s/o again and I’ll murder you,’ but when he snaps he snaps. He immediately regrets doing so afterward because seeing him get angry might cause more distress to his s/o, so he tries to hold it all in as much as he can.

❍ — Forehead kisses... need I say more 😮‍💨 Gangseok gives his s/o all the forehead kisses for sure, bends down to lovingly peck them on the forehead. Especially when they’re really in the dumps, or having just cried a lot. He pours all his love and affection into that one kiss with the hopes to melt away his s/o’s sadness. 

SUCHEON 

❍ — Little bastard man will actually go to the ends of the earth for his s/o. If he catches even a single harsh word directed at them, he will not hesitate to fuck somebody’s shit up.

❍ — With that being said, he drastically flips a switch once he’s alone with them. He’ll wordlessly sit / lie down next to them and let them hug him, or cry on his shoulder, or just sleep on his chest. If he were tall like Gangseok he’d definitely want to envelop them completely, but they’re both small so the most they can do is end up getting tangled together while cuddling.

❍ — Most of the talking is done under the covers, before going to sleep, when Sucheon’s s/o feels like he’s the most open and trusting. It’s more intimate too, with how Sucheon holds them while they vent their feelings. They talk in the mornings over breakfast or early lunch too.

❍ — Freaks out a bit when he lets his temper get the best of him sometimes and accidentally does or says something that upsets his s/o. An underlying sense of oh, shit, what do I do? will follow him all day, and he will actually put everything aside to apologize and make it up to them. As they’re hurt pretty easily, the s/o is actually comforted easily as well, and Sucheon reconciles with them after talking and hugging it out.

❍ — Since they’re pretty much the same size, Sucheon lets them borrow his clothes whenever they’d like. It helps them calm down and, frankly, Sucheon’s clothes are very nice. If Sucheon isn’t immediately around to comfort them, his clothes are enough to generate a similar feeling of security.

❍ — When s/o doesn’t really feel like talking, Sucheon takes it upon himself to wrap the both of them in a huge blanket, so they’re just huddling together in a single burrito. Again, it’s like cuddling but Leveled up™️ ; they’re closer, warmer, and overall able to calm down together.

Look, we both know what he’ll pass notes about.

“The cats by the school are looking a bit thin lately, you think they stopped feeding them…?” “The cat store has food on sale tonight..” “Yesterday my cat…”

Against your will, you now know all of Jiwoo’s cats names, birth date, daily schedule, eating habits, and plethora of other tidbits.

Despite how cat-fixated he is, he’s not limited to conversations, and doesn’t mind talking about other miscellaneous things.

Writes his notes on sticky notes..for some reason, so when he passes the notes they tend to get caught on his hand. You figure out he has them on sticky notes so he can stick them on his notebook as a keepsake

Likes drawing simplistic little emojis next to his messages. Often draws smiley faces.

Tries his best to focus in class but honestly doesn’t care as much as he should and thinks connecting with friends is a bit more important

Unlike the others, tries to make an effort not to get caught, though.

Totally obvious when passing the notes but the teacher doesn’t care because ~favoritism~

it’s very fun to make up think about the ways kayden loves the few people close to him.. for me i personally think it’s knowing them. like, observing them and taking into account all the little things that make up parts of their self. he doesn’t care about others at all, wouldn’t even bother to remember their face or name, but when it comes to his people, he’d remember a lot of things .. favorite food, favorite color, favorite song - the basics, but also things like what makes it so hard for them to open up, what exactly makes them laugh, what things irritate them and what sparks their interest, what they dream of, what keeps them up at night, and so on and so forth. and with this information he’s observed, it thus affects how he is and what he does around them; simple things like bringing them gifts or doing acts of service usually stem from the very fact that he actively knows them well. he wants to know them well. he wants to learn and cherish the things about them.
