Why does his voice keep lingering in my ear?
I die each time my heart bleeds from the pain,
I die once more because I know I'll never contain.
To you I give my heart alluringly.
I let you, however ache it freely.
The eyes I wish to look more.
The face I want to touch more.
Is it too much to ask for?
hamlet’s “i did love you once” and ophelia’s “indeed, my lord, you did make me believe so” is such an underrated gut punch. it’s betrayal it’s heartbreak it’s vulnerability it’s so over. truly no one is doing it like shakespeare
In times like this. I would always ask a question.
Was I given the life that I deserve?
Sa anong paraan mo ba gustong mahalin?
Sa paraang tinatago?
Sa paraang hindi sigurado?
Sa paraang ikaw lamang ang sumasalo?
Ako.

To be seen is not to be loved. But to be loved is to be seen and understood completely.
how i would beg, medusa, for her to look at me, and midas, for his golden clutch / all of this would ruin me / but at least i would be seen and touched.

I'm really struggling with my thoughts and feelings right now. Sometimes I feel like I just want to leave everything behind and start over somewhere far away. But then I remember how hard I've worked all these years, and I can't just abandon everything. It's frustrating to hear that these feelings are normal, because to me, they feel anything but normal!
How much longer will this continue in my life?!💔
hope that we all get better

one of the biggest things I can advocate for (in academia, but also just in life) is to build credibility with yourself. It’s easy to fall into the habit of thinking of yourself as someone who does things last minute or who struggles to start tasks. people will tell you that you just need to build different habits, but I know for me at least the idea of ‘habit’ is sort of abstract and dehumanizing. Credibility is more like ‘I’ve done this before, so I know I can do it, and more importantly I trust myself to do it’. you set an assignment goal for the day and you meet it, and then you feel stronger setting one the next day. You establish a relationship with yourself that’s built on confidence and trust. That in turn starts to erode the barrier of insecurity and perfectionism and makes it easier to start and finish tasks. reframing the narrative as a process of building credibility makes it easier to celebrate each step and recognize how strong your relationship with yourself can become
