Yoongi Doesn’t Want To Leave For Tour
The glaring light from in between the door woke you as you rolled over. You looked across, reaching out for Yoongi, only to be greeted by the cold of the empty space. You sighed, climbing out of bed, following the light into your living room.
“Yoongi, why are you awake?” You asked, grabbing a blanket, sitting down beside him on the sofa. He was resting on his elbow, propped on the sofa cushion. “Do you not want to get any sleep before your flight tomorrow morning.”
The blanket was placed between you both, keeping you warm in the cold heat. “I’m not going to bed,” he informed you, “I don’t want to go to sleep.”
You looked at him, slightly confused, Yoongi’s favourite thing in the world was sleeping, and now suddenly it was the last thing he wanted to do. You studied his face, noticing his bottom lip poking out, quivering.
“Babe, I don’t know what’s going on, but I need you to tell me, this isn’t like you, and if I’m honest, it’s worrying me a little bit.”
“If I go to sleep, going anyway will seem real. I’ll wake up saying I’m leaving today, and I don’t want that to happen.” He stared sleepily across at you, resting his head on your shoulder.
“Going on tour is inevitable sweetheart, as hard as it is to hear.” You sighed, tracing your hands through his dark hair, parting it slightly. “It doesn’t matter if you sleep or not, tour is still coming around, and the fans are all so excited to see you.”
His head shook, as he wrapped his arm tightly around your waist. “I don’t want to go; I want to stay here with you. Knowing I still have one sleep left makes me feel so much better, I don’t want that to change, ever.”
“Yoongi, you know I love you, and I will still be here when that plane lands at the end of tour, I’m not going anywhere.” His grip tightened around you, he never wanted to let you go, not now, not ever, he wanted you always.
Your heart was breaking as he crumpled around you, to see so much emotion in him overwhelmed you. “Don’t think about tour for now, why don’t we go to bed and cuddle?”
You tried to stand up, but Yoongi pulled you back down, refusing to move off the sofa. He dug his heels in until you fell back into his arms. If he could stay in his seat forever, he would, the last thing he wanted right now was to take the steps onto the plane.
“I promise, as soon as you head off on tour, you’ll be fine, you’re probably just nervous.”
It melted your heart hearing him tell you how much he wanted to be with you, but you weren’t selfish, you knew the band came with expectations, and you were always willing to support him through it all. “Min Yoongi does not get nervous,” he clarified.
“Alright, calm down.” You slid your hand into his. “I know it doesn’t seem like it now, but this tour will be over before you know it, and you’ll be back home where you belong.
He squeezed your hand, staring at your tired eyes. He hated that he kept you up, the fact you had such a big heart his feelings always came first, but no matter how much he tried, he couldn’t face the daunting prospect that was tour tomorrow.
“Can you just shut your eyes; I will be here with you all night.” Your hands through his hair were comforting, the fight was becoming harder to try and drive his sleepy slumber away. “Everything is going to be alright Yoongi, you’ll be fine.”
“Will you call me and text me every day? And send me photos of your gorgeous face so I can daydream about you.” You nodded, pressing a kiss to the top of his head, pulling your phone out onto the self-camera.
You snapped a quick photo of you both, noticing in the picture that his gorgeous eyes were shut. “What was that?” He asked, the flash from the dim lighting making him jump slightly. Even when he spoke, he still couldn’t bring himself to open his eyes.
“The first photo for you to keep on tour,” you smiled.
He chuckled at your kind heart, excited to see it. “Do I look okay in it? Did you get my good side so I can admire myself?”
You lightly nudged his shoulder making him smirk. Looking down at his face there were too many different features to admire, everything about him was perfect, from the dimples in his cheeks, to his slightly overgrown hair that hung over his eyes.
“Both your sides are good sides, you’re a handsome man.” You complimented, a small blush growing on his cheeks making you giggle.
“Stop staying things like that, you make me want to stay here with you more and cuddle you forever.” You poked his cheek, brushing your hand against it. “Can I stay here forever?” He teased.
“Yoongi!” You scolded, “you know the answer to that.”
He sighed, turning further inwards into your body. “I know tour is going to be fine, but I’m just so scared to leave you, I hate not being around you and being there for you.
“No matter where you are in the world, I know you’re there for me. It doesn’t matter how many miles there are between us, you never have to be scared, we’re going to be fine, I’m going to be fine, everything is going to be fine.”
He nodded, pressing a few kisses to your jawline. “I love you, just text me, all the time, let me know you’re fine, for my own peace of mind.”
“I will, I promise,” you whispered, holding his sleeping figure. “I’m already counting the days until I get to hold you in my arms again, I love you so much, you’re going to be incredible on tour, just like always.”
“I love you too, I’ll make every second amazing, just for you.”
