how to go from puppy to goddess in 0.2 seconds; a guide by bang minah seo jooyeon

No matter how many times people recognized her, she could never get over the initial shock that her peers were also her fans. “Ah, thank you! It’s always nice to meet a fan,” she replied with a grin. “I can’t make any promises, but I can definitely try to show up.” With a nod of her head, the idol jumped into an explanation, “I’m majoring in Music Composition. Quite a few of our songs are self-composed, actually. It’s important to us that our music comes from our own minds.”
Humming, her nose scrunched up, "It must've been really overwhelming when people came up to you..." It was no lie that Jooyeon liked attention but if swarms of people came at her and requested to take pictures and get shoved around, she would pass. Giving the other a huge smile, she nodded, "I'll take your word for it. I understand how busy you are though so hearing that makes me really happy." Trying not to be eager and quickly lead the way, she kept her pace while listening to the other. "Oh! How convenient. That's really cool, I read so many articles and read so many comments about how it's fake. But I noticed how different your music sounded from others."

“Flattering.” Sunnie commented blankly, eyebrows raised as she watched how Jooyeon’s expression fell. It was definitely a tamer reaction than she had expected to receive, but maybe there was a tiny bit of her that felt bad for coming off so negatively when she was only trying to be nice. Not that she’d ever express that upfront– apologies weren’t in her vocabulary, and once again, probably couldn’t even be trained into her by the best. “Like I said, I might be busy. Most likely will be, with the way my schedule’s been. But thanks for the invitation either way.” She gave the other girl a polite smile and nod, hoping it was an answer that would finally satisfy her.
Of course many rejections didn't phase her but Sunnie's kind of made her eyebrows pinch together. Waving it off, she put her 1000 watt smile back on her face, "Yeah, I get it. Just know that my offer is still out there and you're the only person I've told so don't be telling everyone else!" Playfully scolding her, she didn't want the other to say no but imagining how an idol life would be makes her head spin and she didn't know how they did it while juggling school.

Haneul pretty much lived in some sort of state of mixed exhaustion and annoyance, and that morning was no different. She came home late the night before after going through scripts for potential auditions for hours, and now she’d overslept, thought she was late for a lecture, rushed over to her class, only to discover that she’d missed it altogether. Her mood wasn’t exactly great (not that it ever was).
She was about to turn back and either head back to sleep or grab a coffee when a shorter, much too energetic body bumped into her, making her drop her textbook. Haneul recognised the bubbly voice right away and groaned as she bent down to pick up her book. “What, are you blind? It’s me.” A few words caught her eye from her roommate’s brightly coloured flyers and she rolled her eyes. Typical. She heaved out a sigh. “You’re lucky I haven’t had food since yesterday.”
Coming home at late times because of parties and Haneul coming late because of auditions it was rare for her to actually face her roommate but at the times where they were both present, it was awkward. Since both of their personalities were at two ends of the spectrum they didn't quite get along. Ignoring Haneul's rude comment, she grinned and held onto her arm. Maybe it was a sign for them to bond somehow. Leading the way, she glanced at the other, "So, how are the auditions coming?"

This back and forth was really starting to grate Sunnie’s nerves, mainly because each second wasted was one taken from her time that could be used for a nap, or even a quick snack before finishing her last block of classes and returning back to TKO for rehearsing. She didn’t let it show on her face though, or in her voice, because there was no real need to be rude just yet– Jooyeon was nice, if a little bit annoying, and the last thing she wanted to do was piss off a fan. “Oh yeah, really? I think your radar might be broken.” Playing along, she nudged the older girl back, with a bit more force than she’d intended to use. Sometimes she forgot her strength, and it didn’t help that Jooyeon wasn’t much taller than she was either. “Aw, that’s really sweet! Do you offer that kind of courtesy to everyone or just people that’ll give your party more hype?” There was probably a nicer way to word her question, but a) that kind of tact never came naturally to Sunnie, and even the best PR training in the world couldn’t fix that, and b) she didn’t care much anyways, since she knew she wouldn’t be going anyway. “I’m just curious, that’s all. Y’know, is it because Sunnie is uncomfortable with parties and wouldn’t know how to handle one or is it because Sunnie and her friends are famous?”
It didn't surprise her how Sunnie came off. Of course she read the comments about the girls, what fan didn't but luckily for her she was used to it since her roommate was quite the same. Taken aback by the force the other nudged her with, she frowned. Jooyeon wasn't dumb, she could sense sarcasm and the latter was dipping every single word in it so she decided to play along. "Actually no I don't. You're special and the first celebrity I've begged to come. Usually I see them at these parties, but don't tell anyone." Winking at the last part, her face quickly became neutral. It kind of hurt her that she would assume her tactic was to persuade her to come because she was famous when her endgame was to invite as much people for the sole purpose of having fun. "I...didn't know you were uncomfortable but even if you came to say hi and dance for a bit before leaving that'd be fine with me! Plus even adding your famous friends are a bonus."
[ ` dokyuseok: ]
It had only been a month since classes were put back into session, only one freaking month and Kyuseok could already feel himself slipping away from all sanity. He needed a breather, something to get his mind of all those numbers, equations and ugh all the homework he’d been given. And real fast. The arcade was the first place which came to mind, yes, the most peaceful place in the world for Do Kyuseok was going to be the arcade; a solid fifteen minute walk from campus grounds and that’d be his destination for the rest of day.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t really see you there…” It wasn’t like the 188cm boy was entirely lying. He wasway above sea level compared to the rest of the students here and when his body collided with a frame of a smaller females, he cursed himself inwardly. “I don’t really go to parties though,” almost reluctantly, Kyuseok takes the papers from the others hand. Terrible flashbacks of previous parties Taekyung had dragged him too making a sudden re-appearance, causing him to wince ever so slightly. “Ah, me? You want to eat with me?” He repeats himself, a toothy grin struggling to keep itself hidden as he looks over at the girl. “Well, this is certainly refreshing.”
Breaking her neck to see the male's face, her eyes rounded. He was quite cute and really tall. She pouted and clung onto his arm while shaking it a bit, "You should go! It'll be really fun, trust me." Grinning, she nodded enthusiastically. Jooyeon didn't really understand why people didn't go and party once and a while. It was really fun and plus it's place where you could meet new people. But then again Jooyeon was up for anything and it didn't really occur to her that people were complete opposites from her. Narrowing her eyes, she pulled away slightly, "If you agree to coming to the party then maybe you can eat with me."
[ ` minarhee: ]
“I’ll have to check my schedule,” Mina started, not wanting to make any promises. She couldn’t remember the last party she had gone to, but it must have been before l:oveless debuted. Since then, the only “parties” she found herself attending were for work. The other pulled her along without any hesitation, causing her to stumble slightly as she tried to keep up, “Just, um, an original piece. Something I’m working on for my group.”
Schedule? Tilting her head, she looked at the other and her eyes lit up. "Oh! You're in the group l:oveless! I'm a big fan!" She grinned before nodding her head understanding. "It'd be great if you came though, I think it'd be something stressfree." Her mouth formed an 'o' shape, "Woah, I didn't know you composed music!"
[ ` svunnieskies: ]
How could someone manage to be so cheery this early in the day? It was a mystery to Sunnie, one that left her extremely disturbed. “Yeah, can’t promise anything. I have a pretty busy schedule these days.“ Even if she did have the free time, she couldn’t see herself going anyway– parties were a foreign concept to her, primarily because she was never invited to them. Still, she was never too torn up about missing the opportunity to have hundreds of people invading her personal bubble and consuming empty calories all night long.
Oh great. Now that Jooyeon recognized who she was, she was basically forced into sticking around longer to carry conversation. The public already considered her rude enough, and though she was, she was far more interested in proving them wrong than further sealing the assumption. “Thanks, glad to hear that you’re a fan. I’ll try to, if I can. But parties really aren’t my thing.” She answered, scrunching up her nose afterward. They were breeding grounds for scandals, and if there was anyone in the group that wouldn’t find herself tied up in a scandal, it was going to be her.
Staring blankly at the girl before narrowing her eyes, she opened her mouth before pursing her lips. This girl was stubborn and normally Jooyeon didn't like dealing with them but now that she found out the other was an idol it made the challenge even more fun. "Are you just saying that? 'Cause I can tell deep down you're a party animal just like I am." Giving her a playful wink, she nudged the other just to add more annoyance.
"If it makes you feel better I can get the best people to look out for you. I know you girls are super busy and I want you girls to have some fun for a night!" If that wasn't convincing then she might have to throw in some other white lie to get her to go.

Mina should have been watching where she was going. Distracted by the music in her ears (a new composition she had been working on) and her phone in her hand (texting her manager, naturally), it was completely her fault for running into someone. Immediately reaching out with her free-hand, she helped the other maintain their balance with a hurried apology. Without even the smallest chance to walk away, the stranger’s lips were moving at an exciting rate, causing her to tug away her headphones to tune in. “Go to what?” Her gaze fell to the paper that had been stuffed into her grasp, quickly reading over the details to a party. Mina had never been the party type, but the excitement radiating off of the other was too much to just ignore, “Oh! I’ll definitely try to make it!”
“Mina,” the idol offered with a grin, unable to help herself. Jooyeon’s energy was utterly adorable, and she couldn’t not smile about it. “I was just on my way back to my dorm, but I suppose I could make a quick detour.”
Blinking at the other, she shook her head and hooked her arm with the latter's. "Oh no, no. You're definitely going!" Not giving the other a say, she grinned while leading the way. Jooyeon had this knowing vibe whether or not people partied since she was going around telling people about the latest jam and from the looks of it, Mina was the type to not party and her mission was to change that. "So Mina, what were you listening to?" Glancing at her headphones, she decided to make a bit of small talk while on their way to the cafe.

After deciding to spend her free period down at TKO headquarters to put a few finishing touches on the upcoming album, Sunnie was in a rush to get back on campus to make it for her next block of courses on time. A girl on a mission, she powered through the quad, having little regard for any people that were in her way– at her height, she basically had to use a bit of force if she really wanted to get anywhere. By now, most people knew to just get out of her way, unless they wanted to fall victim to one of her shrieking fits, which caused her to pay a little more attention to her phone than the path in front of her, though this quickly came to bite her in the ass once she collided paths with another person.
“Would you please watch where you’re–” The idol began to spit out, only stopping once a paper was waved in her face and the other person began blabbering on. This girl was talking far too much for her to handle, and that definitely meant something coming from the one that could never shut up at any given moment, whether it was singing or yelling or whining or all of the above. Still, Sunnie took the paper offered to her, eyes scanning over the writing until she determined that it was useless to her. “Sunnie, hi. And yeah, I’m a bit busy, so if you don’t mind? It’s fine, I wasn’t looking either.”
Scrunching up her nose, Jooyeon always thought it was useless to argue with those who were pretty rude. But it seemed like the girl was rushing to be somewhere so she ignored it either way; at least she took the flyer. Beaming, she kind of gave the other leeway but still atempted to stick to her like glue. "Sunnie, i'll see you at the party then! You better be there or else i'll come find you! This school isn't that big!" Her threat was probably mediocre and the latter possibly found her annoying but she liked when the people she met actually attended the parties, it made her feel accomplished.
Taking a better look at her face, Jooyeon noticed that she was a celebrity. Her mouth formed an 'o' shape while her eyes were wide. "Y-You're Sunnie...from l:oveless! Oh my gosh, i'm a huge fan! Wow, didn't think i'd see a celebrity so up close. Since I figured that out, you totally need to go!"
Walking with a small hop to her step, she smiled brightly at those who passed by and handed some flyers to them and educated those who questioned what she gave them. Flyers for parties were really outdated but she actually liked them since some people took the time to stop and read them. It was a waste of paper but she didn't really mind. Flipping her hair to the side, she glanced down to her phone as it vibrated and not even a second later a body collided into her having her clutch onto the flyers close to her chest.
Catching herself, she blankly blinked and glanced at the person. "Oops. Sorry! Hey, take this and make sure you go! I'm Jooyeon, by the way. Are you busy? Come to Busy Bean with me. My treat since I kinda bumped into you." Locking her phone, she tucked it into her pocket and bounced around hoping they'd have some lunch with her. Being a spokesperson for parties was quite tiring.
