(/laughs) Well, I got a job as a barrista so maybe you could visit the cafe sometime? (/tilts her head slightly, smiling sweetly) Hm, me too. I have to drink it in moderation sometimes, otherwise I'd get too hyper to focus.
Settled In - Self Para
T-ae sighed and shuffled her way to the kitchen, sniffling. She had a runny nose from staying up so late, either that or her allergies, but it was too late to go to bed now. The current time was 6 AM, and the sun was just about to rise over the horizon. It took the young girl two whole days to get settled into her dorm, when it should have taken longer. T-ae never liked messes, and leaving her dorm a mess was bothering her. So, when she got home from practice the on the prior day, she dropped her backpack and began to unpack. She cleaned and shined and placed everything, and her dorm was finally complete. Even the kitchen, which she didn't like to make so much use of. T-ae scrunched her nose as the daylight seeped through the windows of the dorm and thought of how messy the kitchen was always going to be as her coffee brewed and leaned on the counter, admiring her work while it was still admirable.
She poured the hot drink into her favorite mug and took it carefully, holding the hot cup cautiously. She didn't feel the heat so much, though, as she was used to the feeling now and her sleeves went over her hands, insulating her soft skin slightly. She took one sip and felt slightly energized again, drawing in a deep breath of air. This was her addiction. Coffee in the morning, especially on long nights like the one before. Her brown hues glanced up to the clock. An hour and a half until her classes started, so she figured she would spend thirty minutes at least trying to relax her body. T-ae made her way over to her "special corner", a place she decorated especially for her own relaxation uses. She turned off the lights and sat in the seat, bringing her legs up with her as she opened the window and watched the light come into the room slowly. She sipped her coffee slowly and sighed contently.

You’re sort of new? -smiles- well at least I’m not the only new one. -nods- Oh?! You spent the whole night drinking coffee? I LOVE coffee. -grins- I like you already just for that!
(/laughs) You're far from being alone, there are a lot of new people around here, so don't worry. (/nods and smiles, giggling slightly) Really?! We already have something in common then! I make really good coffee, so I've been told. I should make some for you sometime.

Ah, really? (/laughs) I'm sure you'll adjust soon. I'm doing good, kind of crashing though. (/chuckles) I'm kind of new too, so, I spent my whole night drinking coffee and moving things around in the dorm.
-He nods- Okay...T-ae. It's nice to meet you, and I hope we become good friends. -Nods again, and smiles softly-
Me too! (/nods) Don't worry. I'm sure we'll get along well. How are you doing?
I’m thinking about signing up now. -laughs- Maybe I should be president or something, I don’t know. -shrugs a bit- Yeah, If not I’ll forever be lazy so I have to keep myself occupied somehow you know. -smiles- Cheerleading sounds fun but I can’t be peppy and stuff like that. -tilts head- Volleyball, you should sign up if you want… -watches you shake your head- Or not. -chuckles- It’s nothing really, I meet new people that way. It’s always nice to have someone to talk to. Even though I’m not much of a conversationalist. I do try to keep a convo going though. -nods and laughs softly- Yeah, maybe one day I’ll cook for you, if you make me coffee. -looks at you and smiles- I’ll be sure to visit then when you get the job. Just let me know when they hire you yeah.
You should be! I was a part of the student council when I was in high school. Being the president looks a little stressful though. (/tilts her head to the side a little, twisting her lips, trying to remember) Yeah, I know what you mean. I get like that sometimes, though I try not to. I can only allow myself to be lazy if I'm sick.. (/laughs) Being peppy is fun though! It rubs off on other people. I guess that's why I like it so much. (/shrug) That and it's a little bit of practice for dancing. Hm, maybe I'll sign up for the volleyball team a little later when I'm settled in. Yeah, I know what you mean. It's kind of hard for me to talk to new people sometimes, but I try. (/giggles) Keeping up conversations is difficult, so I just bring up random new subjects. (/smiles, giving you a thumbs up) Alright! You'll be the first one to know.
I do think it is very amazing, I mean you have kept it going since you were four, now you are still going at it. -nods quickly, smiling widely- I love reading, so as long as I can read I guess I am happy with anything. -chuckles amused and goes to get her key, coming back with quick steps- Well, my parents paid some people to do it for me. -shrugs- I could have done it myself but they insisted on it.
(/laughs shyly, scratching the back of her head with her free hand) Thank you! Well, that's good. Does reading make you feel better if you're in a bad mood, then? (/watches as you walk off, smiling at you when you come back) Ah, well, at least they thought of you. (/laughs) My dad didn't think of it, but when he dropped me off here he wanted to help me. It would have probably took too long, though.
Bad Before Good | Chaerin && T-ae
Chaerin didn’t feel in the mood to be nice. She never really felt in that mood, but today she felt especially against it. She sat in her chair, face serious and inscrutable, and let her head drop on the table. She had stayed awake last night, there had been this really handsome and funny guy at the bar she worked in and she had stayed at the bar a little longer to talk with her. She had arrived home late and found it difficult to fall asleep. That was one of the reasons why she had slept in today and arrived late at class. The other was she was just a lazy person, and she already knew Japanese so what was the point of going to class?
She raised her head from the table when she heard the other talk. She arched an eyebrow at her and let a smirk slip on her lips. “Whatever you want. Just write it.” She let out a sigh and took her phone out of her pocket. “I’ll read it after and correct it for you.” She said, not looking at the girl, and started tapping at her phone screen. It was far more entertaining not doing the dialogue and correcting other’s mistakes later than help them. Plus, this way she had some time to chat with her friends -if they were awake, that is, because it was too early to be awake, even for Chaerin.
T-ae looked away for a moment in disbelief. Did this girl really expect her to write the whole thing by herself? She only really knew conversational Japanese, but not enough to do this whole thing by herself. It was a group project. She needed input. What if what she wanted to write was F Material? T-ae looked back to Chaerin and chuckled coldly. "Do you really expect me to write this whole thing by myself?" She said, her tone sounding a little icy and rude. For a minute, she let her other personality slip out, and that was a problem. T-ae rolled her eyes and internally groaned. She was trying to prevent that from happening, but she only made things worse.
For a moment she watched the other girl and bit down on her lip, preventing another snarky comment from coming out of her mouth before quickly getting her bag and pulling out a piece of paper, grabbing a pen from her purse and putting her backpack down again. She spoke again, in an annoyingly polite tone, without looking to Chaerin. "Nevermind, I'll do it. Chaerin must know it all. Woaah, that's great." She shook her head and quickly wrote down things that came to the top of her mind, saying them over in her head until they sounded right.
- "天気はどうですか？" - How is the weather?
- "彼らは、それが今日は晴れであると言いましたが、それはそこに猫や犬を雨が降っている！" - Although they said it to be sunny today, it is raining cats and dogs out there!
- "この会話は退屈です。" - This conversation is boring.
- "私は同意..." - I agree...
Maybe it was a bad idea for me to write this after all... T-ae thought, sighing to herself in annoyance at this whole situation.
Coincidence || T-ae & Taeyeon
Taeyeon laughed a little “It does make you look like a dancer, yea” Taeyeon smiles. She turns around as she picks her bag from the ground and turns around the to students supposed to be studying and blurts out “Bye losers!,” smirks a little. notices the sort of confused look in her yes and turns round properlly “If you are wondering why they are starring is because..well this is a guess look at me compared to them and you..really people round here love to spy, gossip and spread rumors” scoffs a little then smiles “Shall we?” lets her walk first towards the stairs
"Ah, really?" T-ae said, looking around a little. "I guess I have a lot to learn about here." She shrugged. As expected, any school would have it's little gossip circle. There would be labels, friends and enemies, rumors, all of that good stuff. Though, all of those kids eavesdropping and staring was really unsettling. Perhaps this university was worse with the gossip than her old high school.
She smiled at Taeyeon a little, bowing her head and walked towards the stairs. Hopefully there would be less people up there.
