Donnie watched as a very not-human stepped through the portal and stood in front of him. Yes, she was very much not human, but she didn’t really look like a mutant or a Yokai either. He lowered his bo only slightly taking in the full sight of her. She was much taller than him, and she was blue. Like, cartoon alien blue. He could barely believe his eyes. Of course, he didn’t let his expression show it, one of his regularly used talents being keeping a straight face regardless of what was in front of him.
A straight face, of course, until fear took over. He almost had considered lowering his weapon completely out of pure curiosity until she smiled at him very briefly and he suddenly felt very threatened. Then, also of course, she raised her weapon at him. He held his own up in front of him, but without his brother’s backing him up he felt very inexperienced and very outmatched.
She propositioned him, now smiling fully at him and not in a very kind manner, and he swallowed nervously.
“ Or… You could tell me what you need help with and I could try my best? ” He tried to barter with her, either buying him time to call for backup or stopping the fight altogether.
Jhanna thought he would be up for a fight, but apparently, she had scared him a bit too much in order for that to happen. She straightened from her ready stance and clicked her marker staff off. The two red projections on either side disappearing seemingly back into the tube. Jhanna put her weapon back in her belt and crossed her arms over her chest, looking over Donatello's counter part.
He was honestly, adorable. Of all of Donatello's counterparts she had met over the years, this one was close to being the youngest she had seen. He had a cute, crooked mouth, he was lean, but still pretty skinny, and his eyes were so big. This Donnie was so expressive, and even in this short interaction, she had already seen at least three different emotions. Jhanna kind of had this urge to make sure he was safe at all costs - and this urge was definitely stronger on first sight with him than it was her own Donatello.
"I was really hoping you'd be up for a little spar," she murmured, her disappointment evident in her tone. "You turtles are usually pretty spry. But I guess if I wanted a fight, I should've probably found Leonardo. Or Raphael."
Oops, she had already spoken too much. This Donatello hadn't yet explored other dimensions and she was supposed to break the news gently, or at least, a little more tactfully.
'You need to make sure you don't scare him. Otherwise, we wont be able to get what we want!"
Jhanna held out her hand for him to shake, a gesture that Donatello had once told her to use on Earth as a greeting. "I am called Prime Magistrate Jhanna and I rule the planet Omatron. I'm here to ask you a favor, but I think you already knew that. I'm looking for the mystic bo staff that you refused in favor of your 'tech bow.'"
